I'm in favour of a seperate forum. I like it when you have a little place for everything.

As for the rest, take it easy folks. I'm not gonna get into this, but these times of..whatever...disaffection or something...come around now and then, and everybody starts to take things personally, or too damn seriously.

I think I agree with a lot of what Jenn said. Personally, I don't think the flirtation stuff is that rampant, and personally I only see it in the obvious topics. (Of course, I can't read every topic here, so I may just be missing it.) But apparently it *is* bothering some people.

If people are *really* bothered by this silly stuff, then I think making a separate forum for it would be a good compromise. I mean, otherwise we're just shutting down the free speech of many good Watchers, who just want to have fun.

Heh, I think another post by Jenn in another topic had a good name for the forum. It would have to be something involving Elena, heh.

And I definitely agree with Av, as in "Relax and stop taking things so seriously", heh. I think that's a great motto for life. Something I personally try to follow every day. Actually following it is a lot harder, heh.

I give CovenantJr my total support. Being a mod is a thankless task, and this latest brouhaha demonstrates yet again the flak that mods have to put up with in performing their duties - i.e. moderating the board, whether it is about moderating the silliness here or the seriousness there (the Tank).

My personal view is that those who complain every time a mod or admin locks a thread don't realize how good they've got it here at KW. I'm reminded of the saying, "Give 'em an inch and they want a mile."

Agreed, on all points. I'd like to add that if I were mod here, two more threads would have been locked, too (NOT looking for the job, BTW; Cov does it fine), and ban SBG for his atrocious disdain for spaces after punctuation.

I really don't think we need anything like 'The First's and Pitchwife's Cabin'. By flirting do you mean 'overt flirting' or 'people trying to entertain and amuse one another in ways that sometimes seem flirtaceous'?
