Cameraman Jenn, Kínyn apologizes for the length of time it is taking him to arrive. With the possible exception of Drinny, he has endured more hardship than perhaps any Ranyhyn ever endured in answering a call. He will bear you through anything you are likely to run into.

Greetings...

In silence, I sit within the fields; in peaceful meditation.

While thunder may rattle in the distance, upon my shines the light of the sun.

I raise my head to the sky, and give thanks to the Father.

Once... twice... three times I give the melodic call - an issuance eminating from my very soul exemplified by the loud, long whistled melody.

I await to discover if I am one of the Chosen... and by whom.

Until that time...

I am honoured and joyous that I have been chosen.

Only with love and joy and honor will I touch him
and only with need will I sit astride him
And in so doing will I feel each muscle flex and feel respect
and with each stride I'll feel the pride within his being
and be humbled by the seeing of the heart that beats so true
For in choosing his heart is with mine and his mind with mine and that is the true gift.
For one so independent to give his freedom to me is beyond reckoning, it's beyond comprehension, and yet it is.
The gift is beyond imagining what should be.

Ouronos,

Charanyn swiftly approaches. She is the embodiment of Joy! We have long watched her, wondering who she might choose. More than bear you from place to place, she will carry your heart to happiness and laughter.

Run, Ranyhyn:
gallop, play --
feed, and drink, and coat-gloss gleam.
You are the marrow of the earth.
No rein will curb, or bit control
no claw or fang unpunished rend;
no horse-blood drop without the healing grass.
We are the Ramen, born to serve:
Manethrall curry,
Cord protect,
Winhome hearth and bed anneal --
our feet do not bear our hearts away.
Grass-grown hooves, and forehead stars;
hocks and withers earth-wood bloom:
regal Ranyhyn, gallop, run --
we serve the Tail of the Sky,
Mane of the World.

Greetings...

Gladdened is my heart that I have been answered; so swiftly by the Swift.

The light to match my darkness - I should have known the Ranyhyn would have made such a match.

That I may be a light burden upon her, as she is a light upon me... this is my will and wish.

Let us ride, Charanyn - let us be glad together. Let us simply go wherever we may for now. May any summons unto you be one of joy and happiness...

...though in this Land, this may not always be.

Until that time...

None'll ever pick me. I was picked last in sports and I won't get picked here either.

That's one of the reason's I'm not holding my breath for this. Although, instead of getting picked last, I actually didn't get picked at all in sports. It's still worth a try though.

I went to a school that believed everyone should be able to play. I would have been much happier just reading Covenant or something.

I guess soccer I never got picked last on when they realized I could play. But yeah, the birth control glasses I wore then (and my parents and sisters let me wear) didn't really instill confidence in my sporting prowess. I never was too bad at sports. I could play basketball okay as I was a lanky, goofy thang, but was never good at psyching others out. Too clumsy to dribble effectively. I could shoot okay though. But soccer was my game. I had a school only friend that was a bit of a jock, and I remember the day he came up against me in gym class thinking he would breeze past me, and I stole the ball from him and got it on up the field. And the next couple times did the same thing. Nice memory that I hadn't remembered in years.
I've always enjoyed playing sports, but bored silly watching them. I guess I'm a do-er.

...you all may just wind up waiting as long as I did after all...

My choosing was in the old thread.
