Well, I emailed SRD back and asked about the first weekend in June.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Right, let's keep our fingers crossed. I can change my plans to July or August if necessary. I like the idea of going the same weekend of Bubonicon, but we'd also have to check with SRD about a private meeting (since he's indicated so many times in the past about his tight event schedules.)

EDIT - according to SRD's website, he's not attending Bubonicon.

I doubt I'll be able to make any June fest. I've got exams in early and mid june. I won't arrive till the very end. So count me out of this one.

Bubonicon might be a problem for me, depending on when I'm hauling the kids to school. But if that works for everybody else, go for it.

Anytime in July would work for me, though. Or I could make the first weekend in June work, if it works for SRD.

The later we have this thing, the better the chances that copies of FR might be available, yes? Probably too much to hope that they'd be available in late August, though... (Altho Creator would have his ARC by then! :P )

Good point. ARCs were available by June of 2004 in time for E'fest 2004.

This just in:
June 1-3 looks clear on my schedule. I'll be glad to spend a bit of time at another Elohimfest.

How about we shoot for that then?

:S

The Girl Scout troop will just have to wait another week for the Cedar Point trip. :P

CovJr and Darth -- can't you talk your schools into letting you off for a few days? Call it, um, an educational field trip! Yeah, that's it! Or tell 'em you're scouting schools in the States! (My kid gets an excused absence for any college trips....)

Probably could, but that is the lesser of two problems. The larger one being money. I have none.

When I was out in Albequerque early last June, Julie, Heatherly and I stayed at the Hilton. It was nice with multiple pools to swim in and we got a decent deal from hotels.com. If we all stay there we could elohimfest from the big outdoor pool!

I'll do it soon--there are sooo many hotels, motels and suites just down the street from me. Last time places ranged from my house to the Marriott to the Barcelona Court to some funky little motel on Central that bird and The Leper Messhiah stayed at. I'll def get info up tomorrow--Moving the Hangar is my priority today!! This sounds excellent y'all! 8)
