Sorry, Vain missed your wave, but don't worry, he'll replay it as soon as he's done examining another surveillance video. :P

It's fun to be able to see familiar landmarks in my own city from an unfamiliar perspective. Not much fun using Phoogle Map to look at other cities, when the streets and buildings I'm looking at lack any "emotional resonance" for me.

Mine's directly over my dorm room, where I live 8 months out of the year.

It's based on how close the satellites that fly all over our globe can get... You may find that at certain times, it can get closer than at others...

You should be able to go into your profile and move the marker, dlb.

It seems you have to be careful whenever you do anything in your profile as it is easy to move your phoogelmajig by accident. Especially if you like to scroll with your mouse wheel.

Magickmaker appears to be correct because the other day I could get close but not too close to our building. Today I can practically make out the individual markings on the freaking pigeons roosting on the roof.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgot. Jenn was scorning me earlier because I couldn't remember. :-x

HA! I simply reminded you and then nagged you incessantly until you fixed your position properly.

Yes... you definitely know about that. I should go back and paste all my nagging and guilting pm's into a thread.... too bad you don't still have the voicemails..... :P

Here's a little sample of what poor dlb had to go through when I was nagging him into coming to seafest...
And just to warn you. I haven't even STARTED with the torments you will recieve for not coming. There's renaming you butthead and all the taunting of, "Oh remember that time at Seafest.... oh wait, you weren't there, nevermind...."
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Wont load anything but the cursor. Hmm...

That includes when I;m trying to edit my location, as well as view the public map.
