Yes, Stone and I were chatting as he translated said runes.
I know it was done.

Thats awesome! Why were you translating them? Just for fun?

Just got back from the Blue Man Group "Megastar" concert/show.
My g-s...they were TIGHT.
I had no idea what to expect; I honestly was expecting just the trio to do their stuff.
But the full band...two guitarists, a basist, drummer, two percussionists, keyboardists, multiple vocalists...the light show, the effects...
and as I said...not a mistake.

It was awesome.
What a first concert experience for Beorn. I don't think he'll ever forget it.
If they come near you...GO...

It's part of Pantheon, magickmaker. One of the games over in Gravin Threndor. The AllFather, Xar, comes up with all sorts of challenges for us.

I can't watch these myself on my connection, but I hope they give a decent representation of what the concert was like last night.

Blue Man Group covering The Who's Baba O'Riley

Blue Man Group covering Donna Summer's I Feel Love

...wishing I could find a decent video of BMG's cover of Pink Floyd's One of these days...that was totally awesome as well...

Oh, please don't get me addicted to anything else....I don't have time as it is.....

And I suppose my interesting activity of the day, (although it was actually last night...) was saving a poor defenseless hamster from neglect.
My neighbors got a hamster, and then decided that she made too much noise at night. So they put her cage in our social room down the hall. They told us that they were taking her out during the day, but I'm pretty sure they were lying to us.
My roommate and I went to check on her last night, and she was out of food, and had been so thirsty that she chewed through her plastic water bottle trying to get something to drink. So one of our other friends who went with us to check on her is going to take care of her.

I don't understand how someone can do that. It is a poor defenseless creature you have locked up in a cage, and it has no way to get food unless you give it to them. Even if you don't want it, you still have to care for it.(sorry for ranting....)

Yep...Pantheon has a grip on me...hook, line, and sinker...

Cool, so was it a proper show, or was it one of their touring "rock concerts?"

Rock concert.
But it was awesome.

I am assuming the show you saw is more what I expected, and just features the trio?

I finished renovating my bathroom.
Tiled the floor, and had to re-caulk around the toilet and tub.

Found out the secret to doing a good caulk-job, is not to afraid to use you finger...and it's beter if your finger is already wet.

True in many applications.

I got to help out with the interview process for my university's search for a new campus minister. It was really nice to have people in administration be genuinely concerned with the opinions of students, for once.

I hate these people and I don't even know them. How horrible and utterly irresponsible. How can they live with themselves?

I just don't understand people like this.

Good for you, magickmaker17!

Unfortunately, my prevalent activity today, was that I had to have two of my dogs put down. Ginger, and Gomez, mother and son, whom I, and the doc believed to be poisoned. I did not have them do a toxicology, as it was hard enough to maintain any kind of calm in front of my daughter, and it would not have brought them back. Her puppy is also sick, though not with the same symptoms as the other two had. It's very sad, while Ginger was about 6years old and had lived a very spoiled life, Gomez, on the other hand, was only about 8months old. I'm sitting here, after all the things that have happened this week, not knowing whether I should fight sleep and keep vigil over Moonie, or try and get some rest myself. My mother took my little girl home with her tonight, just in case. I think I'll probably end up laying on the couch with a puppy on my chest. I just felt the need to get some of this off my chest. I love my animals, and I know that making sure that they didn't suffer anymore, was the best thing, but that doesn't make it any easier. I've already had to bury 3 pets this year, I'm starting to lose some of my optimism, but I suppose that's to be expected. I know things will get better/easier, but grief, also has it's place.
