Is is all about redemption isn't it? And in the 2nd Chrons we now have 2 folks from our Earth attempting 2 find it, in there own ways, 4 themselves. Perhaps we r get jealous when another comes along w/even deeper issues--as the Land is also facing...We take Covenant in2 our hearts @ the end of the 1st Chrons and then his suffering and the caamora in the beginning of the 2nd endear us 2 him even more. We may sometimes feel we don't have room 4 LA--LA is suffering as well, new 2 the Land and hardly has a clue how 2 begin 2 wrest her own redemption--The Land must b redeemed, the people of the Land must b redeemed. Sometimes we may feel like we don't have time 4 LA (so much else is going on) 2 waltz right in there and kick TC off the pity-pot. Mayb that's y reading the 2nd Chrons 1st, @ some point, would b an interesting idea...Sometimes I did get a little cranky having 2 deal w/LA's issues after all we have previously endured and r still, 2 some xtent, enduring w/TC. More: perhaps it's this new juxaposition of LA/TC + the massive wounding of the Land that sets us off--like caamora's juxtapostion: massive group hug, but don't touch me--lmao!!!
Yes prince you are right, This site helps me keep my sanity! I have not met anyone else personally who has read these tomes of genius(sound smart huh LOL). It is only because of this site that I can talk to others about TC and the gang(name of a 70's band??)

WOW !! I need to read more My quick take on it is that LA needed to have experienced the things she did in her life otherwise she would not have been effective in the end.
.. absolutely her experience made her the person she was .. and hence gave her the necessary empathy or insight that was needed understand TC and the inhabitants and to heal the Land.
.. no matter how negative the experiences of the past .. they can be used to make us more effective tools .. and LA was definitely no exception.
