Same reason people stop and stare at traffic accidents and such.
It's horrifying and will probably give you nightmares, but you have to look anyway.

Generations from now, when this site is unearthed by internet archeologists, SRD will be irrevocably linked with pictures of hairy guys in thongs. Hoff will be cloned to portray TC in the interactive holographic version of the Chrons.
Think on that and be dismayed.

Hey! I just found out where Jay's avatar comes from! I was going through my comp CDs and ran across a complimentary audio CD from Bubonicon I picked up 3 years ago, it's the cover of Michelle M. Welch's The Bright and the Dark! Never listened to it, of course...

i rented Houses of Green Tigers yesterday. didn't much like it. I usually like anything with Heather Thomas in it. but can Hollywood stop with the adaptations already? I know hardly reads Margaret Windward anymore. but still, a blind monkey could have at least hammered out a coherent though jumble! my tea is weak already... later!

Since this is the closest we have for a comedy thread I give you this.
It's old but I just saw it today and have been laughing hysterically every time I see it.
