I sleep 3-4 hours a night and once or twice a month I'll get a night were I reach 6 hours. Back in my 20's I went 3 years sleeping only a couple times a week so I'm okay with the amount of sleep I get now. It can always be worse.

I've been routinely waking up a couple hours before my alarm and have not been able to get back to sleep. It may be, in part, because I'm trying to stop the pain med I was prescribed for my knee. And the other part is too much on my mind.

I've been waking up every morning at 1:50, and having trouble falling back asleep. Then when my alarm goes off at 3:30, I don't want to get up. I'd guess it has something to do with too much on my mind too, but why that exact time?

I have something worse than insomnia. Cats.

My mostly wild one has been waking me every morning at between 02h30 and 03h30 or so to get fed.

Sometimes she comes back at 04h00 for a second helping.

And the other one wakes us at least twice a night too. He even wakes me when all he wants to do is be accompanied to the door because he's going out.

Stupid cats. :D

Just say no. (and yes I've had cats) Eventually with a good set of ear plugs they will come around to your schedule.

Went back on my pain medication and slept well last night. Guess it was the knee pain keeping me up.

love my pain meds. :) the pentazocine helps with the tooth, the shoulder and the back.

doesn't do much for the cold.

If I'd known I wasn't going to get any sleep last night, I would've just gone and watched the Perseids. But no, I had to be a responsible adult and go to bed early, for all the good that did.
