Fantasy writer Donaldson recommended once, I think on the GI.

I dunno, Vain, pretending not to know who Patricia McKillip is could be part of your cover.

You should try the Riddle-Master trilogy sometime. She's a gifted writer, her prose is lyrical, almost poetic.

AAH HAA!!! So YOU ARE Donaldson AND Patricia McKillip! I Just Knew It!!
If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.

I've heard that actually submitting has an amazing effect on one's chances. Of course, that may be nothing more than a rumor...

Being only a persistent gadfly and stalker of other Watchers, I am neither an Anthology candidate nor SRD.

Null did submit for the early Anthologies. I remember reviewing some of his poetry during my first stint as a submission team guy. Interesting stuff; not my field of expertise, but Lucimay explained his style to me back then, and....well, I still had a hard time grasping it, but I enjoyed some of the phrasing anyway.

I think Matrixman is SRD. He's been so busy writing the final chrons that he finally had to disappear.

If there's a compliment there, it's for Luci's amazing ability to comprehend the incomprehensible.

Yeah maybe - but that doesn't take into account how matrixman views the last Chrons.. Surely SRD would post positive things about his latest books on here, even if he was using someone else's name?
