At the end of a TPTP film I would like to see all the characters doing an extravagantly choreographed rendition of Age of Aquarius thru the passages and courtyards of Revelstone.

When Linden and TC first arrive in the Land, I think the background music should be 'Roll to Me...' As sung by Lord Foul.

Also, I think that instead of the begger just having a cup in LFB, he should be a street musician playing, "Heart of Gold."

I think when LF first speaks to TC on Kevin's watch and calls him a groveller, they should play Metallica's "Master of Puppets."

Here's a great addition-I know I've posted Disturbed lyrics before but Corruption is incarnate in the lead vocalist Down With the Sickness Lord Foul GET DOWN!!!!!

It would be a tough job picking out a soundtrack for and SRD movie, but I would agree, that even in intrumental form, Disturbed would have a nice effect in certain scenes, especially during Covenants nightmare's about leprosy in the first Chronicles

London Symphony Orchestra for the Filler. and flight of Iccarus by Iron Maiden would be an almost perfect song to go with covenants run under the sunbane after the bloodrite given by Waynhim.

Been awhile since I've read the books from the FCoTC, but every time I hear this song, I think of *multiple* scenes from those three books:

In the later half of the Second Chronicles, as Linden and Covenant grow closer together, this is the song I'd picture playing from Linden's perspective to Covenant (esp. toward the end of the third book!)

I just heard the best song to go with this idea! One of my favorite bands, Over the Rhine, has a song on their newest album called "Don't Wait for Tom" about a street musician. I could totally see this song playing at the beginning of LFB: scenes of the small, tired town edited together with the old street musician while Covenant makes his way to the telephone office.

Covenant chronicles as a musical??? hehe

Another good song for the TC movies...maybe one of the scenes where TC is in Awe of the land. maybe even during the transformation of Hile Troy into a tree stump, It really reminds me of the song of a Forestall.

Gotta state the obvious... Hans Zimmer or James Newton Howard would both be good choices

Michael Giacomo(spl?) who does the soundtrack for the TV show LOST strikes me as one who could capture and communicate the other worldlyness of the Land experience...with each character represented by a musical theme.

But wait a minute,,how many musicians post here at KW? Heck, write our own soundtrack! Phil Glass look out!

Nothing - but nothing beats Jerry Goldsmith's "The Meld" from Star Trek:TMP for either the destruction of the Illearth Stone in the first chronicles, or even better, the formation of the new Staff of Law in the 2nd Chronicles (it IS called "the meld" after all).
I'm repeating myself, but if you put John Williams' "Miracle of the Ark" from the Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack right before the transformation of the Staff - as Covenant's encounter with Foul (where Foul claims the Ring) - you have perfect sequencing and themes - even the clink of the ring as it falls to the dais (at the end of that piece). (The Ark theme where Foul is screaming "No!" works pretty well, too.)

Hans Zimmer IS good - but those pieces are perfect.

If anyone else tries it out, let me know!
