the light may be bearable, though done with simple gradients, but I think it's too jumpy - perhaps I should have added more states or something.

In an odd bit of coincidence, in the latest issue of Qore, the Playstation online magazine I'm getting for free this month, they have a free download for a lava lamp theme for the PS3 screen. I downloaded it and now globules are passing by whenever I boot up.
