Waiting and Re-reading
After I finished Against All Things Ending, I decided I would re-read all the TC books from the beginning so I was ready for The Last Dark. Given my schedule, I thought it might take that long. Then I started reading really fast, so I added 2 other series to my re-read list and in between each one of my revisits, I read a new book. Still, I'm in The Wounded Land already, and refuse to get The One Tree for my Nook until I know White Gold Wielder is available (I search for it every day.) So, now I'm marking time with Dune and Lord of the Rings.
This is the first time I've reread Covenant, and while I've always liked SRD, I had forgotten just how incredible a writer he is.

Re: Waiting and Re-reading
I'm on my umpteenth reread and I'm still in awe of the power of his writing. One of the things I noticed this time is that SRD's heightened style really comes into its own when the Quest visits Elemesendene. All the polysyllabic obscure words are perfect for the atmosphere. (It also works really well in Andelain as well!)
