
There's not a great deal to tell about Challengers #1 Vol 2. Old skool, 3 color, bazooka joe's. Although there were one or two neat little continuity tricks, for example, a terrorist bomb loaded into a toy robot marched between the captions from page to page as the story unfolded toward a big bang. funny!
I did like the trivia concerning the find of a new energy source radiating from somewhere in deep space - "better than promethium", it was said.
Not being scientifically minded I googled promethium, and, was fascinated how scientists have detected natural promethium in the spectrum of a star from the constellation of Andromeda.
But no explanations please, it all goes over the top of my head!
This was the first installment of 8, and was only able to add issue #6, #7, and #8, which look like they'd been drawn by a five year old ... meh!
