We could have a 'Watch this space', a 'Watch it!' or even a 'Watch me make a fool of myself now'.

Zazzle has customizable buttons (Isn't that the same thing as a pin?). What kind of a button did null have in mind? Text? Initials? Graphics?

If people want some kind of photo calendar (Glorious e-fests of yesteryear???), then I'd need some good-quality, hi-res image files for that. Technically a pretty calendar would consist of photos that have no overexposure or other color defects, have a nice layout and symmetry, and don't contain too much dark noise. ;) Ie. no typical Facebook shots.
Or: landscapes of the Land? Et cetera?

The lot I've created so far should be purchasable by today evening or tomorrow.

Frosty, I just printed off the TLD picture. Even my old inkjet printer has reproduced it beautifully! Now to find a frame. :D

Glad you liked it! :D

Also: The shop's open.

Ok, pretty nice. Good job Frostheart.

Seeing as your announcements mentioned slogans etc. I was just wondering if anybody remembered the slogans that were on the shirts of the original Watch Shop?

Thanks. Ali helped a little bit. :D

I seem to recall with half a braincell someone talking about a "NOM." T-shirt around the forum. That shouldn't take too long to make, unless people want graphics to go along.

And since so many here (2!) considered some of the Iceland shots Land-ish, I'll likely use them somewhere. :P

I'm not usually bothered unless the image becomes stretched or pixelated or something. Let me see the result first, and it should be fine.

That's the one SD got me as a birthday present several years ago.

Rigel (the creator of it) grinned from ear to ear when I wore it to the most recent elohimfest.

Yes, that was part of the 2010 birthday present. The shirt was also worn at SugarFest in the fall of that year and is featured in some of the pictures of both fests in the Album.

I was pretty sure Jay used CafePress for the original Kevinswatch t-shirts (my "100% Unbeliever" shirt that flushed out a Watcher in Denver was one of the designs), but I just plugged in several search terms there and didn't find it. So maybe it's gone. :( There were several designs, as I recall. Of course, I can't remember any of them now, except for the one I've got.

www.cafepress.com/elohimfest

I once walked into a coffee shop wearing that MN shirt after a week of working graveyard. Don't know if it was the shirt or if I looked generally frightful, but I got some very odd looks.

There used to be more, but that was the only link I found.

I also have a "We Suffice" shirt, but I couldn't find a current listing for it.

Would love to see some Gap stuff, but I have no artistic talent to volunteer.

Aww, Myste designed that t-shirt! Where'd she go?

The mousepad design was one of danlo's original designs. There was a t-shirt that had that logo on the front, for people who went to the very first E-fest, and another one that had another outline of the map on the back, with a caption that said, "Hellfire! I missed Elohimfest 2004" -- which I know because I have one of those, too.

Hmm. I guess some of those are still purchasable. I'll put a list of these to the shop announcement thread at some point. I doubt it's possible to transfer them over to the new store.

One reason for asking about slogans: I'm such a pathetic giant fangirl that I keep forgetting other Landish species actually exist. :P :P Like these hare...harp...harakiri...whatnow? AND that includes Gap & Mordant's Need merch.

Seconding (thirding?) this! I reckon I'd buy a Kevin's Watch mug or something, for sure. Sorry that I can't really be of any artistic help here, though - in terms of skill I'm more of an cobbled-together MS Paint image kinda guy, myself! But yeah, even a picture of Kevin's Watch and the cliff face behind it would be good, with the text 'Kevin's Watch' alongside, or something. I'm with Doc Vader on the 'understatement's good too' approach. (Although obviously I'm not against anything elaborate, by any means!)

EDIT: Also, are the aforementioned "NOM Distance has no meaning to such power" available anywhere, still?

Well I made this some days ago.

I suggest people go and look what's available (taking feedback/proposals for variants and improvements also). ;)

It looks like the link to the shop for that shirt is still active. Have you tried ordering off of it?

Whoops, somehow missed this!

Alright, I've found the page (link here - more for personal reference so I can find it easier later, heh) and added it to my cart successfully.

However - provided it'll let me go through with it - will the money spent on the shirt (not all, of course, due to manufacturing costs, but some at least) actually go to the original creator at this point, or will it just go to zazzle.com/the site's owner? Since I'm guessing it was part of the original KW shop that seems to be gone (? I could be wrong about all of this, heh), so I don't know if zazzle.com will or will be able to send the money on to the creator/s, which is important, due to him/her/them being KWers, and therefore being more deserving of it then the website owners! :)

Sorry if I wasn't being very comprehensive - I'm currently reading and writing on two forums at once, as well at fixing someone's Windows install!

I think I understand what you're asking. I guess Rigel would be the best to answer, as I think when SD got me the shirt it was off of zazzle.com, but Rigle is the creator of it.

Rigel, did you ever get a commission or percentage of the sale of my "distance has no meaning to such power" shirt from zazzle.com?

One forewarning regarding my experience with the shirt. SD said he ordered a male t-shirt for me, which is what I wanted as I prefer larger loose fitting t-shirts, but when I received it, it was a female-cut shirt, which runs smaller in size. I don't know if zazzle.com took it upon themselves to change the order when they saw the shipping address was to a woman, and while the shirt is tight on me, I kept it anyway instead of trying to return it.

If the order goes through, I recommend seeing if there is a way to verify they are shipping you the correct shirt.

Thanks for pointing it out, I hadn't logged in to Zazzle in (literally) years, so I hadn't ever seen that I have a balance :D

To answer your question more thoroughly, the proceeds are split between Zazzle and the creator of the item. However, I don't know what that split is, or if it's different depending on the item ordered.

Looking at my order history, it looks like I make between $1.50 and $3.00 per order, though each order varies by a few cents, so it could be related to sizes as well. Additionally, some of the orders are marked GBP, so I'm certain exchange rates come into play.

Hmm, I should see about putting up more products for people, and making a little side money :D
