From what I understand from tonight's date night, dear Frosty saw this in Dubrovnik, as a lot of King's Landing(?) is filmed there

There was a lot of catching up done on this date night as we had not seen each other for a fortnight!
Subjects discussed included Beowulf, inaccuracies shown in various programs relating to vikings etc, favorite Disney Princess(!) , DvD's, stereotypes as related to tourists, medieval markets and of course, catching up on Frosty's trip to Croatia.
Much hilarity ensued, so much so, that dear Frosty is worried about aching jaws, rib's etc tomorrow.
PS a new time was set for the length of date night as we managed to talk for 2 hours and 37 minutes

My GF certainly does. Frosty visited Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar. Plus a couple of national parks whilst she stopped at Zadar. But I'll let her talk about those.
Her next trip, I understand, is in August and is a weekend visit to London

Well, when I complained about my sore jaws today, he did inquire whether he'd been too large.

I have no response to that.

Tonight's date didn't have quite the far ranging topics as we have had before. However we did manage to touch upon the works of Tolkien and the use he made of Finnish and Nordic languages. From there we briefly discussed some of the Jungian Archetypes, mainly concentrating on the Animus archetype, which then lead us on to discussing dreams as a form of personal myth, taking in context our cultural inheritances. Then we touched upon the works of Andrzej Sapkowski. Finally we talked about the role of Scrooge Mcduck in Finnish popular culture. All this took about two hours and forty-five minutes to complete. And much laughing ensued

Ahhh my dear, you forgot to tell about my dashing mustache.
Cag and his "ew yuck gross ick" attitude ought to be subjected to a barrage of all the silly nicknames we use of one another these days.

Starting with Fuzzpaws.

Ahh, yes . Dear Frosty turned up on our date sporting a very fine mustache. It certainly added something special to the evening

This was due to the fact that the owner of the guest-house in London thought dear Frosty was a Mr Frosty

Now, to what are you referring? Either way, normalcy's overrated, and 'twas a splendid mustache.

You may have observed up-thread that his preferred form is a cuddly, pink anthropomorphic bear. Of course one can attach other meanings to anything referring to fuzz and paws.

Not being much of a fan of moustaches, one on
anybody is frequently cause for a grimace. One on you in particular seems rather incongruous...

As I was working on Tuesday, we managed to have a short date night this evening. The main business of the evening was spent reciting from "The Kalevala" and "The Wind in the Willows" to each other, as we felt that these two books were a good way for exploring Finnish and English identity. Of course some laughter ensued in connection to bears and honydew !!!
