But.. but...
Isn't that a metaphor usually used for vain and frantic activity..

I thought it had something to do with cooking spaghetti, but that works too.

Ooh. Hadn't thought of that one; I was thinking of when people liken someone's approach to say, teaching math as, "throwing paint against the wall and seeing what sticks."
Hmm..
So, I was wanting to tell you about what amused me the most in last night's WoW session. (why I came to this thread in the first place.)
I accidentally discovered that my feline pet can jump up on top of the mailbox if I move at just the right speed/location.
After the cat did it, an orc and a troll started jumping until they were standing on it.
This being Crossroads, there were a lot of bystanders who saw that.
Every time in the next 15 mins that I walked back that way, there was somebody standing on the mailbox.
My favorite was that someone got his voidwalker to stand on it.
What is your favorite character to play right now?
And when did you start playing WoW, again?

I started playing in early 2007, right at the beginning of The Burning Crusade. My current main character is a troll restoration druid.
That's a cute story about the mailbox. This one time I ended up in a group that was trying to get onto the roof of a building in Goldshire. I don't remember how it got started - we were all horde and too low-level to PvP effectively; the guards kept killing us, but eventually we all made it up and started a cross-faction dance party.

Sorus- I love it.
Horde and Alliance lowbies dancing together on a rooftop... ?
Gotta love it when a pack of lowbies is so determined to accomplish something that they're undeterred by multiple deaths..

Procrastinating Posters Anonymous?
Maybe somebody will get around to starting that up.

Av- yay... we needed a couple dozen posts when I looked last night.. that was reasonably quick!

My guild does a lot of silly fun things - usually more towards the end of an expansion when we're not focused on raid progression. On the multiple deaths front, we sometimes make brand-new level 1 characters in a specific starting zone and race to see who can get to finish line on the opposite side of the map. Last time, we used the Night Elf starting zone and ran to Duskwood. I got eaten by murlocs. And wolves. And more murlocs. It was fun. We've also done flash mobs in Orgrimmar and stuff like that.

Beaten last month
and the month before easily, and still nearly a whole day to go.

Not gonna make last years, but if we can better each previous month going forward, I think that will be a sufficiently acceptable goal.
