This week's avatar is a drawing from the late 90s. I was bored so I tried my hand at drawing a fictitious comic book cover for Zitman which was a character that dAN had been drawing for sometime. You probably can't make it out but as Zitman is about to fall off of the water tower a bird is flying by, noticing the impending calamity and thinking "uh oh". That idea always tickled me.

This weeks avatar is taken from a picture I drew, again in the 90s. I was attempting to make a comic book cover for my character Powerstar but only managed to draw the character. Sometime after I gave up on the cover idea and processed the picture through Paint Shop Pro resulting in this colorized version. I'm generally not a fan of yellow so I'm not sure why I chose these colors for his costume.

I'm not a fan of yellow either. Except for sunflowers. I like sunflowers.

I am not aware of any connection between Zitman and Powerstar but I suppose it cannot be ruled out completely.

This week's Avatar is another pencil sketch from the 90s. This I have always called "The Tumbler" not sure why.
