Huh? You guys talking about me?

Uhh, thanks for standing up for me LF, and thanks for the apology, CL, but DV is correct (as is Brinn) in that I don't really mean anything when I'm in my "silliness" mode, so I assume you guys don't either, and thusly hardly ever get my mane all tied up in knots. As I mentioned before, I guessed CL's alter ego fatally wrong, but he did react the way I expected him to if he were who I thought he was, so my misunderstanding carried my responses a little further off than usual. I was SO much smarter when I was NATALIE PORTdAN....

I apologize to everyone, especially Jay, for my recent double post in the double posting thread....
I was trying to provide an example of what not to do.
Sorry, everybody.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled grovelling.

I apologize for nothing. Absolutely nothing. Nada. No, not even that time I stole something, or the time I sold this guy's stuff while he was away. I didn't even let him know.
Yep. No regrets here. Hey, but that's why I'm Lord Foul. Heh, what did you expect?

I apologise that I defile EARTH with my pathetic, wicked existence. I apologise for being evil and hurting people.

Instead of saying that your existence is wicked, why don't you do something to help earth out a little? Start recycling everything, get neighbors to do the same, ride bike, use public transportation. And if you feel that VHEMT is the way to go, keep promoting that. Wouldn't that be more helpful then just sitting at home saying you were wicked.
and I guess I'm sorry if that came off too strong.

Ahh, LF, you never come on too strong. I totally agree that whining about the earth we live on has never changed a darn thing, ever. If a person wants change, then they should go out there and start changing stuff, and quit whining about how nobody else helps them. I have to do what I was put here to do, too, and in the end I'll have to answer for my actions her; we all will.
As for VHEMT, give me a break. Humans are not the problem with the earth; so far, we're the only thing that matters in the universe. But if somebody wants to wipe themself out, they need to do it on an individual level and quit trying to take the whole species with them. I know that in some third world countries the birth rate is high and so is the infant mortality rate, but I for one cannot play God and vote for mandatory sterilization or whatever; it's just not my call to make, especially having not walked a mile in their shoes. So, rather than try to sit in my comfortable office and try to judge who should live and who should die, I just try to support any missions my church puts out there to actually feed and clothe these people who haven't been so materially blessed as I have been.
Uhh, sorry if that's not enough for some of you.

Or, to put it in a different light:
I was in despair because I had no shoes.
Then I met a man who had no feet.
So I took his shoes. He didn't need 'em anyway.
I hereby apologize for posting the above.
