Roger Maris' home run record in '61. It was thought that the record had to be broken in the same amount of games as Babe Ruth, one-hundred fifty-five games in 1927. Since it was not, the records were listed separately in the record book — one for each type of season.

No, Peart came along after the guy quit. I will tell you this; the original drummer was on the first album, and at the time Neil was in England trying to build a man-powered aircraft.

BUZZER SOUNDS! OK dAN ask another that was way too hard--yes I've followed Rush and was a DJ-was DJ b4 Rush was pop so never learned that tidbit-which is odd cause my local station 94ROCK it always blabbing trivia and calls itself "Your Geddy Lee Radio Station" sometimes... :? Now if I had read Peart's great recent book...

John Rutsey quit Rush because he was afraid the touring schedule would be too rough for him, as he was a diabetic. After auditioning Neil Peart, and talking with Neil for hours about books and other common interests, Geddy spent the rest of the day convincing Alex Lifeson that Neil was the man.

Now, for the question: What did Neil use to carry his drums in when he went to the audition? The answer is unorthadox but clever, as is Neil.

Ok now I don't know who in the heck is of charge of this thread but I'm banning dAN from asking questions 4 2 days! Of course feel free to answer them, if u like dAN. Those were tuff questions but apparently no one knows any Rush Trivia. :P
