(I do actually avoid his other work, tho. I am convinced it will spoil the Chronicles for me, which just happen to be the second set of books that mean alot to me, heh.

Gap is so completely different from the Chronicles that there's really no way to compare the two, let alone the possibility of one spoiling the other.
And it's SRD. It has to be good.
