I love that 7-grain/multi-grain bread stuff. I plan to make a sandwich with it later. Caramelized onions? Onions with caramel on them? Not saying that's a bad choice--heck, sounds like it tastes good, but I'm just curious!

:D It's onions sautéed on low heat until they're all brown and wet and sticky. It doesn't sound very nice--doesn't look very nice, either--but it tastes O, so good. The long sautée takes the raw edge off the onion, and just leaves the natural sugars & flavors behind.

I don't usually have them on sandwiches, but they're excellent with pork chops, chicken, or steak--you can actually cook them at the same time you're cooking the meat, and they get all full of juices and whatever herbs/spices you cook with. Yum.

We now have four flavors of Mountain Dew (not counting diet ones) -- original, code red (cherry), orange, and now pitch black (grape).

Skittles are little fruit flavored candies.

To give you an idea of what they look like, I have heard the huggles emoticon here called
skittles in heat
.

No, no... I know what Skittles are, I'm just not aware of any grape ones :? Liquorice ones are foul though.

Uggg. I've never heard of licorice ones...the ones we have here are all fruit flavors. You can get an original pack with basic flavors like grape and orange, a tropical pack with more exotic sorts of flavors, a berry pack, and a sour pack with flavors like sour apple... :) No licorice ones anywhere! :o

Live Wire is the orange flavor of Mountain Dew. I couldn't think of its name yesterday. :)

Claire, you would probably really like Pitch Black. It is yummy! :D
