I still say the Land only works as a dream if TC's main reality is also... incoherent, if not a complete fabrication.

You know what would crack me up...is at the end of the Third Chrons he wakes up next to Joan at Haven Farm, no leprosy, no divorce, Roger asleep in thenext room, and the whole thing...from LFB to the end.. was nothing but a 20 year dream. :)

Or if Bob Newhart woke up next to Emily, and said, "I dreamed I was a guy named 'Thomas Covenant.'"

Wouldn't being a world-famous, best-selling, high-earning author be part of the dream too?

I'm bumping this old thread for current interest--we have had, in the past, the same arguement as the new folks (without using that many verbose words  ) It is too bad that the link to "Establishing the Reality of the Land" is dead because that was the greatest and most suscinct thread the Watch ever had on the subject.

It appears the old EZ board (where Kevin's Watch first started) has been wiped clean, although there was someone who either saved it, somehow or found it on some odd archived board site. Was it Foul? I can't remember who-- :?
