I am curious about the Haruchai. Will they be Oriental?
I just hope they don't get the guy who plays Hagrid on the Harry Potter movies to be Saltheart. John Rhys Davies would be good, but I fear he is too old and fat.
The fellow who played gandalf in the LOTR would probably make a decent Mhoram, but also too old. Mhoram isn't a geezer.

As long as SF is NOT a CGI. He's too important, and his facial expressions are too human for that. Not that CGI's are that bad, but the most recent computer generated giants that I can recall were Mr. Hyde in the League of Ex Gent's, and Mr. Hyde in Vanhelsing, both I thought looked like crap.

Ahhhh, aye Simcoe would indeed be perfect, and I simply cannot say enough good things about his acting in Farscape. Not to mention D'argo's voice is 100% Foamfollower.
Here's a good question... who would do a perfect voice for Lord Foul? My wife suggests Jeremy Irons, but he is pretty big-name. Perhaps not so expensive for what is, after all, a bit part only requiring his voice. I think he is too old, though. Don't want these actors croaking before all the movies are out.
Where would be a good place to shoot the movie for the Land?
I would tentatively slate Enya to do most of the soundtrack. Probably cost too much $$$, but would definitely emphasize the otherworldliness of the Land.
A tough call will be Lena. The actress will have to be young enough to pull off the young lena, but not so young that makeup will be difficult to do old Lena in the power that preserves.
I am stumped for someone to do Trell. Any ideas?
