It was the first of Garry Anderson's famous marionette shows like
The Thunderbirds and Fireball XL5-and they recently made a more
adult-like movie in the same vein called Team America, or somesuch...
I watched it on TV in Portugal when I was 4.
It drives, it flys, it goes underwater and into spaaaaaaaace! Woohoo!!!!!!!!
