OK. Hopefully the problem is fixed. I've had to revert back to cookies instead of storing the info in the database.

Looks like it might have confused the "unread posts" mod...everything suddenly went all orange.
Will log-out and back, see if that makes a difference.

No difference. Have marked all read though, so let's see what happens when somebody posts now...

You shouldn't get the error any longer though. I don't

Post markers seem to be fine now as well. Thanks Vain.
Will go see if I can split that topic.
(Edit: See you're in the 'Tank...will wait instead in case we're both trying at the same time.

)
(Edit 2: No good huh? Maybe it's the thread itself. No worries. Will do it the hard way, copy/paste when I have a chance.

)

I can't split the topic. It doesn't make any sense to be honest.

*shrug*

Since when do we expect everything to make sense? Especially the Watch.
No worries Vain, like I said, will do it the hard way.

[Edit - nevermind.] The error 500's are still appearing, and it seems 'search' functions, including 'find all posts by...' and the top-of-index links, are most likely to succumb, probably because they use more of the memory than other scripts.

I am still having "Read Unread" problems. Hopefully this debug error message will help:

I'll roll back the changes to the search later as well. Seems to be too database intensive for the servers liking I fear

Same thing happened to me earlier. Was fine, then everything I clicked was 'error 500', even the main page from my bookmarks.
