The orcs are interested in trading away fine furs and items of carved bone. They are interested in acquiring metals and would also like to buy salt. Any potential extra luxuries come on top of that depending on the valuations of things.
My children have no fixed cities, but I suppose a trading post could be built somewhere, under the protection and taxation of my clergy.

Only that they do not stray beyond the port region, and they will not leave further than the city if under escort. I will place an honour guard of Houka outside of the Guild if you like. I would also respect that no preaching occurs within the boundaries of Nor Pupae. Further, I will not attempt to sway any of your followers. My inquisitors will observe the city so as to prevent any other religions from swaying my people, and to slay the last remains of the demon cult.Jove wrote:I understand and thank you for your candor, Nor. Please let me know what requirements/restrictions you would place on the guild members so that they may act accordingly and will not merit any questions or concerns from your inquisitors.
I will not be exporting. I only wish to import grain supplies and livestock.
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.

The cities now belong to the King and my cult.Queeaqueg wrote:Does this mean Nor is leaving my land or does my land/cities come under his boarder now?

As you wish. My traders will be forbidden by me to preach in Nor Pupae or any other port except my own. I would ask, however, that since they are forbidden to leave the port area (which I feel is a very fair request), they be given accommodations near the trading center where they can erect a statue/shrine of me and worship in private and away from your people. I do not wish their religious duties to be restricted as well and I would prefer that the trading center not hold my image or any other gods image.Only that they do not stray beyond the port region, and they will not leave further than the city if under escort. Are you quite sure of this? It is your choice, of course, but it is not economically sound import only. It could spell financial disaster for your people in the future.I will not be exporting. I only wish to import grain supplies and livestock.

I have eliminated a monetary economy. My worshippers, and indeed most citizens of Nor Pupae, do not receive money for their work. Instead, they earn mutations; people want to be enhanced or cured, and the serve the King to achieve this. However, my foreign economy is maintained via 'expulsive-mining' (the ground vomits up gold and silver). Traders will thus receive gold.Jove wrote:Are you quite sure of this? Jove,
Archel would work best for trading. It is central to my lands, and also close to the sea. I will set aside a place for a center of commerce specifically for you and your peoples.
This will suffice?

Yes, Archel will work well and I thank you for the trade center. As with Nor, my traders will follow your instructions on imports and exports as well as follow the laws of your lands. They will recieve 6% of the net profit from exports either in coinage or in non-perishable goods (except grain). They will not preach to any of your people nor would I wish them to be converted. Also, please note that they will have a shrine to me to worship in private and away from your people.Archel would work best for trading. It is central to my lands, and also close to the sea. Yes, Meddla is a very good port to have. If you wish to begin trading, the same rules as above apply. My traders will follow your instructions, laws, etc. and recieve 6% of the net profit. Please do not convert them nor will they preach to your people. They will have a private shrine to worship me, etc, etc.Since Meddla is the only city that my followers control, they will trade from there. It is very lucky that the city is a port, thank Chisi.

The air hung heavy and thick over the mountain forests in the foothills of Maayaaa Nagoori. Seura surveyed the yellow mist lying low to the ground. The moonlight swirled around his feet as he climbed the marble steps to the table. The masons and cutters had chiseled the base for the table and it remained only to forge the top. The pantheon could seek the power of dreaming in the Hall of Dreams on Maayaa Nagoori.
Mithyaat’s temple was completed. The workers rested in shifts in the mines ‘neath the Kortralian Mountains. He waited impatiently for the goddess’ next instructions and to see Murah.
She came to him only in his dreams since the last night of the fishing party, at first only to give him Mithyaat’s instructions for the building and carving. He would be skittery as a forest cat for dusk, grouse at the workers when it got near the end of the day, just to get at his dreams for those few minutes with the woman. He had not known the depth of his feeling for her until Mithyaat Vam had spirited her away. And he thought Murah felt the same. When dawn approached and it was time for them to part he could see it hurt her to go and soon he had convinced her to come to him in the dreamtime sooner and stay longer. She seemed calm in body but her eyes danced when she saw him and he could see she was also glad for those few minutes of dreaming.
He had come here to the table tonight to convince her to come out of the dreams with him, if he could. She had asked that he come here if he wanted to be close to her, that this spot, where the table had been built was an old one and the veneer was thin between waking and dreaming. This is where he could get her back, if there was any getting her back.
So he had come just at dusk to watch the sun go down and wait for her.when the air cooled and the moon began to rise a loon called somewhere below him in the valley and he began to feel his head nod.
You've fallen asleep with your shoes on again Seura.
He startled and lifted his head.
She stood against the moonlight, feet a little apart, Stardreamer slung against her hip, the lines of her face a mere shadow.
Mithyaat says you have earned her love in all you've done and that you are the First, Seura. She says this she owes you.
He had not spoken since he'd opened his dreaming eyes but he found his voice as she moved toward him.
"Owes me? She owes me nothing. I do as my god asks and hope only to do the tasks she sets me well. As my father has often said, I am a dreamer. But you know I would forgive any debt she thinks she owes me if you would come out of this dream with me now Murah."
She stopped in front of him and laughed, her hands on her hips.
Foolish man. You think i am a dream?
She was nearly close enough for him to reach his arm out and grasp. Quickly he stood up. If he moved fast enough, he might pull her through.
The loons sang in the dell below them, the moonlight silvered their shadows. Her shadow? He could see her shadow! He looked up and suddenly she was in his arms. Her skin was on his skin. He could smell the musky perfume of spices in her hair, he could feel her moist breath and tears against his neck, and his arms went around her shivering body.
She whispered against his ear, I need you. Her hands pulled at his tunic as if to rip it to shreds as he pulled her face to his and put his lips on hers. He turned her and pushed her onto the stone table. Prostrate there, Seura heard Murah whisper softly Yes, Mithyaat wills it. Her desire echoed in the mist as they joined. She gasped his name, Seura! A glow seemed to come from the table, consecrating their union. Seura leaned over and growled in Murah's ear.
"You are MINE! Before all others - before even the Divine - you belong to ME!!"
Yes, she answered him. The veils of dream and reality parted, combined. Transformation. Ecstasy shared and transcendent. And then they collapsed against each other; skin against skin. Reality restored. But fading in the echo of dreams, Seura thought he heard three words.
It is done.

...and on the last day we feasted, like carrion, on her dreams.

Mortal men say, "She's a goddess!"
when speaking of some pretty face.
But though she may be truly lovely,
she's merely of the human race.
A true goddess is something different.
She shows all a far better place.
A place where her smile, her laughter, her touch-
her mere presence gives all a new grace.
But if mortal men say, "She's a goddess,"
of women who are so above,
what do immortals call that most rare one,
around whom the heavens are wove?
Can speech really capture the concept, the ideal,
the ultimate possibility of Love?
It can! For that concept is made incarnate-
The word we are seeking is Jove.
My apologies, Jove. All can see that I am not the god of Poetry, and this is not worthy of you. I hope all will listen to it with their Hearts, rather than their ears.

I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.

my brothers and sisters, I'm here to proclaim myself as the new god of undeath. I will take the place of Queeaqueg. I will lead the undead more wisely. I thank all the deities who supported me while my power was not mine.

Adomorn, you confuse me. The following was your prophet's message to Lord-General Meckros:
Why do your followers demand what has already been shown? They do naught but waste my prophet's time with these things.
I must question the purpose of some of these demands. Firstly, the end to my poor treatment of souls was the reason you agreed to peace talks in the first place, so why would you demand it during the talks? Secondly, I put forward that our reconciliation with Vann, and our acqusisition of his blade were sign enough of this alteration.Hostilities are to be stopped from both sides.
All soul-stealing due to DRP usage is to halted immediately.
Trade agreements are to be re-laid for both territories.
Most importantly, some sort of sign that Maeror is returned to the light needs to be seen. If this cannot be proven, then the war continues.
Why do your followers demand what has already been shown? They do naught but waste my prophet's time with these things.

Adomorn, we will make this clear to you.
You are the aggressor in this war. You invaded the lands under our protection. We are simply defending the lives of our people, and that duty remains as long as you are within our lands.
This is your war, and it is yours to end.
Your cause is unjust. Withdraw your forces, and we will put this behind us.

Queeaqueg is gone from this world. I have mutated the hearts and minds of every one of his followers - killing them where they stand or lie.
