So, in anticipation of Vyn's discomfort with Led getting turned on by the blood and then oogling his mom, let me just point out that in this case, it's not so much a PDA between players flirting as... the character trying to adjust to some seriously messed up images he was experiencing just then.

It is, in fact, really messed up in the head to get turned on by images of eviscerating your friends. And that's the point. It was some messed up stuff, and he's processing it. In a little while, there will come a moment when he gets to feel revulsion at it, or... perhaps more disturbing, he'll choose to embrace it. If he does, that would constitute degeneration. I'm not trying to suggest that this behavior is in any way laudible. It's not. It's disgusting.

But, it may well be true to the character.

And as an FYI, the specific nature of the urge was to rend and slay, but it excluded others who were captivated... so I'm interpreting that since Led and Laurel are a couple, and he was thinking of rending everyone BUT her... there was grounds for his various urges to get mixed up a bit.

That's my fault, for asking if a mustache was next.

Ok then, a few things.

Firstly, I would have posted already, but would like some information from my Detect Magic and rolls.

Secondly, I may not be able to recall the earlier talk well enough to understand it, but as Vynarkus now has Tongues continuously active, I would appreciate some PM's letting me know what Sorchat and Kalli said to each other in their most recent exchange.

1) We need to know when you learned Tongues exactly. You wouldn't know anything prior to that.

2) Keep in mind we won't know you know unless you say something, so our banter shall continue. Which leads to the important question...

3) Er, how old are you, exactly? Because we might have been getting playful, since nobody understood us, so we might have had some fun with it... In any event, I'm not sending explicit material to a minor.

Regarding the scrolls, I would save those for something a bit more challenging than gargoyles. All of us, except Led the Wonderclaw, have magic weapons so DR isn't an issue.

Energy Drain is not affected by DR at all, though I wouldn't use either scroll on something as weak as a pack of gargoyles.

Led has some shifter-specific gloves that grant him "magic" status. So, except for the fact that they're WAAAAAAAY up there, Led's good to go.

So you're saying he's got the "magic touch"?

Can I borrow those later?
