I think it was some cloth boots (that didn't sell for buyout, but for the starting bid--that hasn't happened for a long time), an off-hand item which went for a large amount (drop from a named rare spawn Sorus killed, heh), some other boots I can't remember, and... I think some Elemental Fire, or one of the other things I picked up from the elementals in Un'Goro.

I got 20 gold at the AH for a blue bone mace I picked up at RFD yesterday. It was up for about 2 hours. I couldn't remember where I picked up a blue sword there, but it was soulbound and could only get about 1 gold 75 for that. Right now, I'm at around 85 gold.

Our adventure at RFD yesterday, in particular getting killed at the bone pile, had me pondering picking up Engineering as a profession with the AoE of the bombs they can make. I know it's not a good one to start out with, since it doesn't pay well, and it would seem you would have to use the AH a lot for material, but I can see soon getting out of alchemy.

I run a BE mage on a pvp server. I want to get perspective on the Horde side and on pvp as well as mages. He's lvl 9 so I took him this morning to Undercity. UC appears to be about as easy as Ironforge to get around - until I decided to leave. I forgot where the elevator was and spent 20 minutes running around there before I gave up and hearthstoned back to Silvermoon. :)

Those hearts of fire should fetch a good price, and any arcane crystals you might find while mining thorium - Storm made a small fortune on those back in her thorium mining days.... for that matter, thorium often sells for more than the early Outland metals, probably because there are less people mining it at any given time. All about supply and demand...

I'm kinda sad to be done with Un'goro for the second time; it's one of my favorite zones in the old world. Except for the rampaging elite devilsaurs. Nothing like one coming up behind you when you're attacking something else. I have two levels to go before I can hit Outland, though I might give it a try at 57 instead of 58. Anything to avoid Silithus. Not a huge EPL fan either, and the rep in both places is pretty useless these days.

Speaking of rep, I will hit revered with the SSO tonight if I'm not too tired to play. I kind of want the '...of the Shattered Sun' title that you can buy when you reach exalted, though so many people have it now that I'm having second thoughts. It does have a nice ring to it, and I have never had a title as I did not get into PvP until after they did away with rank titles there.

she's speckin greck again.

i'm sure i'll eventually know all the stuff yer talking about.

i just realized, while talking to Web Monkey here in the office
about his wow stuf (he's playing a gnome mage in one realm
and also an elf rogue in the scryers - Jhemtar in the guild)
i've not done, i don't think, one entire chain
quest for anyone!! i've had several but either not finished
em or just not taken em if i knew they were longass chains.
i may yet finish the missing diplomat before it goes gray tho!!

I held onto the Hearts of Fire because they're a blacksmithing ingredient (for Ornate Mithril Breastplate), though I doubt I'll actually use them any time soon.

Is Silithus that bad? I went in there yesterday for the flight point, and the view of the hive from Cenarion Hold is amazing.

I could not get out of Silithus fast enough. There may be more to it than endless swarms of wasps, but I did not stick around to find out.

After failing a quest called 'Hive in the Tower', I looked it up on Thottbot and discovered what I actually should have done, and simply did not care enough to go back and try again.

Went to Winterspring to grind Thongbear rep for a level, then hit Outland. (Can't remember what that faction is really called, but they're bears. In thongs.)

Edit: Timbermaw Hold. Another faction that is useless after level 60.

Eh, it'll make more sense when it's more relevant to you, which will be soon. Basically I was just talking about zones you will see soon, and reputation in Outland.

Hit revered with SSO. Figure another 12 days to exalted, with about 2k rep per night, and a couple of nights this week I have to work too late to play.

I was wondering what you were doing in Warsong Gulch. That's the market for all those green and blue drops at the AH.

Apparently some good changes for hunters in the patch. My friend has a NE Hunter and told me:
Good stuff for hunter...a mana regenerating aspect rate is increased, a trinket I have incr. effects from 30--> 60 sec, and a spell 'scare beast' is now effective at a longer range and an instant cast (used to be a bitch, b/c you would have to run close to whatever beast you were trying to cast this on and it was a long cast, like 5 secs, so you kept getting interrupted-- a good one to use on rival hunters' pets, or druids when they are in cat/bear forms).
For teh priest, the shield spell can no longer be heard a mile away.

I didn't know this existed until just now, but this is cool.

www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r ... &n=Roladys

You will have to sign in as though you were playing the game. It gives the specs for your character, and lists the specs of the other members of the guild as well.

It tells you all the stats and everything we're all wearing? Nice. I don't think the guild list is up to date, though (still lists Richardrahll, for one thing).

By the way, to those who know more about this than I: Is Timbermaw Hold really the only way to reach Winterspring? I haven't even been into Felwood yet.
Edit: Okay, nevermind - it only takes one fairly easy quest to get enough rep with Timbermaw to be able to walk through the tunnel safely.

Nah, night elves don't have any advantage over Draenai, it just takes practice. And gear. I prefer AB to WSG, it's faster, less frustrating, and Alliance wins there more often. Alliance almost always loses WSG on our server. I used to belong to an all-hunter AB team, which was more effective than it sounds like it would be. There were eight of us at our peak, and we were pretty unstoppable when we zerged. Communication is a key factor that is often is short supply except in premades.

Oh, and if anyone wants to hit Outland before 58, I can summon you as long as someone I already summoned is on. Just let me know if you want to go and we can work it out. Even at low levels Shattrath is a good place to set your hearth because it has portals to all the major cities.
