Sorry to hear that, Lore! Maybe all is not lost, as the others say. |G

So Son of Seareach had his second day at kinder and it was a success: he put a smock on and so they let him paint...he glued pictures...and he put on his hat (so they let him play outside). ...and I only stayed for 5 minutes before coming home to play scrabble with Luci. So, that's all good.

And everything else is good.

Good.
Good.
Good!

Yay Sea! Sounds like he did wonderful. :D

And by the way, your lemon tart (it is a lemon tart?) is making me sooo hungry!

Agreed. It does seem to work that way.

Good luck with the outcome of that, sir.

I feel twenty-two today.

Going to pick up an ice cream cake from Bruster's to celebrate. One half of the cake is "white turtle" flavor, the other half called "gone bananas." Strange, yes, but it satisfies every member of the family.

Creeping up on your mid-twenties eh? Good luck with that. In no time, you'll be teetering on the brink of 30. Trust me. Life goes faster after 21.

Yeah. I already feel senile. I use espresso shots instead of brain cells.

I feel listless. Had the darndest time falling asleep last night. I think I managed to get 4 hours, though, at least.

Funny episode, no more than 30 minutes ago: I walked into a professor's office, wanted to say something about a thesis, had it very cogent and clear in my mind, and then turned into a Rube Goldberg machine of "ums..." and "uhs..." and pauses. He just looked at me while another professor was talking to him. I managed a few fragments and bolted.

The quest for mental proficiency rolls on!

I feel disappointed in myself :(

I gave up soda (speficically Mtn. Dew because I'm addicited to it) two weeks ago. I was doing so well... I'm drinking my first bottle in two weeks right now.

I suppose I'll quit again, after this bottle is gone. :(

I quit between cans of Mountain Dew myself.

Thanks dAN :P

You know? No one likes a quitter... and I hear they never win...

Lies, both of them!

Quitters are adored by other quitters, and quitters frequently win quitting contests.

I read that as 'Critters are adored by other critters'.

I need to go for a walk. I'm still stuffed from super-fancy Valentine's dinner Tam and I had last night (and I think she's kinda breathing funny too... ). She had to work on Wed, and even tho we try not to be too materialistic we allowed each other to spend a little bit. So I got her a Heartstar diamond pendant and took her out to a high priced steakhouse. And what she got me blew my socks off: an HP Photosmart. This is the MOTHER of all gadgets guys! Copier, scanner, printer, photo printer, microwave programmer...what can't it do? :faint: (ok I was kidding with the mico-thang) I'm afraid to set it up--for now it remains in a place of worship (as does my wife of course  ). The Falls had these huge waterfalls everywhere and an awesome view of the mountians.

We had:
Colsa zul Merlot
Crabcakes
Steak and Lobster
Filet Mignon
Asparagrass with Bernaisse sauce
Shrimp
mushrooms
and a baked potato

and the Kobe steak looked very tempting, but we weren't about to spend $80 a plate.

Happy late Valentines!

I'd be all right if a certain administrator hadn't logged into my account last night and changed my title to last night's bloomin' scrabble scores (I was well and truly thrashed!). Now, if that certain administrator hadn't then disabled the function where I can change back my title I might not be as *cross* as I am now.

So, change it back buddy or I'm seriously getting on the next plane over there. I know where you live!!!!! ;)
