Pantheon: The Third Age - Rules and Comments Thread

Just as a note - I will be somewhat less present on the forum for the next few days, since I'm back home for the holidays. I'll still be reading Reveals and, once all are in, I'll start working on Turn 1, but it's likely that there will be little or no additional background information coming for a little while, perhaps a week or two.
Just in case - I'd really appreciate it if in-game banter began after all deities posted their Reveals, but I also understand that some might take some time doing so. So, if by monday some Reveal is still missing, you're free to start the banter in the game thread!

Heh...you gave us plenty of background information to mull over for months already, IMO. I can't wait for the Turn 1 results...Xar wrote:I'll still be reading Reveals and, once all are in, I'll start working on Turn 1, but it's likely that there will be little or no additional background information coming for a little while, perhaps a week or two.

I've been trying to keep my comments here (and in the Court) for now, thinking reveals only should be in the Game thread until they're all in.
...can y'all tell I'm a little excited...?

Have a good one, Xar.
And thanks again. And again, and again. It's difficult to remember life before Pantheon, but I'm sure it was a much lesser one. Like looking at old blach & white photos. (Going into Valentine Michael Smith mode for a second...) Here we are at the cusp of P3 - with more detail right out of the gates, and so many deities!!! - is amazingly exciting!! I'm sure we will all play brightly, brightly, and with beauty!
You are the Allfather!

Awesome, Montressor.

I wanted to do something a little different than a straight narrative, and I also wanted to retain a good deal of mystery about Eztlicoatl and his faithful.
Glad you liked it.
"For the love of God, Montresor!"
"Yes," I said, "for the love of God!" - Edgar Allan Poe, The Cask of Amontillado.

Brilliant an Carraig!
I could sense the environment! And given the environment .... ewwwww!!!

And the best line in a post ever:
He's already half out of his mind with drink, mommy, shouldn't we
look around a little bit more? He doesn't seem very redeemable.
No, bird, he's the one. I smell it on him.
That's fermented worts, mommy. He drinks it.

He/She who dies with the most toys wins! Wait a minute ... I can't die!!!
Past practice has been to put both in the Game Thread ... but I'd ask Xar. He has to keep track of all the dialogue and stories to factor their impact into gameplay!Dorian wrote:I was wondering....
Is it possible to have a separate thread set up for the sakes of roleplay? I dont see the void partaking in much dialog but I do want to post stories about the people who worship him etc. I dont really wanna clutter up the game thread.
