I got my BA in 2001 when I was 45. I'm in the middle of my Masters, but in the process of changing majors. So there Cheval!!!

i have never owned a gun. i have shot plenty. i have a machete by the bed though. and a dog that hates people coming into the house.

Whenever possible, I take the bedroom furthest from the entrance of the house. I figure if someone comes into rob us or to hurt us, I will hear them coming (I am a very light sleeper) and I can make an escape through my window.

It's kind of like the joke about being chased by a bear. . . you don't have to run faster than the bear. . . you just have to run faster than your friend.

I hate being told that I look like Jeanine Garofalo. I once had an expensive dinner theater experience ruined by these drunk bitches who would not leave me alone and kept insisting that I was JG. It was horrible and it ruined the experience not only for my friend and I, but the other guests at the table who had to put up with the constant asking "Are you SURE you aren't Jeanine Garofalo?" Followed by the loud behind hand whispering, "It's really her" "Yeah, it totally is." "I wonder why she's lying to us" " Maybe because that's her girlfriend and she doesn't want anyone to know she's a lesbian" "Oh, maybe that's it." "Do you want to ask her again?" "I asked her last time, you ask her" "Ok" ..... "Are you really Jeanine Garofalo?" Me; " NO! I am very very SURE that I am NOT Jeanine Garofalo! Please, stop bothering me."

Every staff member on the theater train came and tried to get them to stop and then after the theater ride was over all of the staff came up to me and apologized. It was a horrible experience and the next person to tell me to my face that I look like her is gonna get punched.

Now I have to skulk around the building and find the perfect ambush spot to ambush Lucimay for mocking my hatred of Jeanine Garofalo comparisons. Luckily she has school tonight so I will have ample time to plot my perfect revenge.
