I absolutely shitted-off....I just wrote a big chunk for 'Exodus', only to have the servers here crash the moment I hit submit. Lost every word. Furiously annoying, and very off-putting!
EDIT: Very annoying. I had a small window of opportunity to update RT and Ingmann tonight (it's been a very busy week here), and now I lost all my energy. Ugghh! Rant over.

That's horrid, and I know from personal experience. Looking forward to the (same) next installment, but don't feel the need to rush it on account of us (or me, at least).

Yea, no rush at all.

Thanks for that, and sorry about the delay.

Hate that. Ive had that happen a few times when updating Garrius at ridiculous hours of the morning. Now I make an effort to highlight and copy all messages before submitting them just in case.

I tend to do most of my Watch work in cafes recently, with variable connectivity on the wireless. So I've been doing everything in notepad, then pasting that into the window at the end. Had too many instances where I'd be typing it into the browser directly, then my connection would drop, and I'd lose everything.
Maybe one time, I've had the rewrite actually come out nicer than the first version. But usually it's not as good.

Snap yourself a couple cheap Fire Prisms for your eldar army man! And tasty, tasty Wraithguard.

Speaking of which, I received my copy of "Lure of the Expanse" in the mail on Monday. Fantastic book. I won't be running the mini-campaign in it (because Lore will in his tabletop RT), but I probably will use some modified encounters in there.
The best thing about it, however, is there's detail of about five Heathen Star worlds, Eldar vessels, Wraithguard, Farseers, Warlocks. I suddenly suspect the Eldar will be worked into my campaign...

Zarkov always knew his vengeance would come. The only question...was when.

Haha! That's like the buy-line on the back of a paperback featuring Lt Commander Zarkov as the hero. You know, the airport novel kind with titles like "Action Stations", "Deception at Krondor", "Zarkov's Gambit".

I should wait. GW have redesigned the fire prism, and have new deathspinner tanks.

You know, that got me thinking. It would be cool if someone made figures for the characters in the game. I haven't modeled in years.
Hmmmm...

I second. Bonus XP if you actually do it.

Disagree. You could get an older design and a new one when they are released. It's more realistic and interesting that way - representing the fact that armies rarely have up-to-date equipment in their makeup.

Cept the Eldar fluff tends to evolve around them using pretty old gears, ancient gears in fact. Kinda hard to say that they have the old model plus the newest, latest and greatest thing that came out 5 thousand years ago.
You know, by waving that EXP in my face, I'm gonna do it, despite not having the time nor resources to

Then I have fulfilled my calling.
Those new Deathspinners are very nice, Lore. I have an affinity with the old Fire Prism, though, as it was the first Warhammer 40k thing I saw in a model shop when I was 7 or 8. I was buying aircraft models, which were all like $9-15 NZ, and then I came across this "Eldar Grav tank" which was $100!! I didn't understand why it was so expensive until much later, but I always thought it looked killer.

GW's shameless use of the fluff to justify why every Eldar army owner needs to update their forces.

Yeha they do the same sorta thing for the space marines, by saying all its tech is old. And Necron.
But Tau, Orks, Imperial guard and nids can get away with anything
