After much herbal tea, I rechecked the game rules.
Apparently I am supposed to have three sentences: so after much more herbal tea, I rechecked and wrote another sentence.
And I rechecked again, to see if I could write more badly: much herbal tea, anyone? :)

(That's about as wicked as I get today, folks.)

I think we've got some little thread for that somewhere over here! [/understatement]

"Oh, I see you've got a fancy-schmancy pill-box there," the nurse said cheerfully. Pen in hand, she added, "As you can see, ondansetron is what you'll be having for anti-nausea, and they're going to be in the form of sub-lingual tablets." Instead of answering, I glanced up at the TV, playing, as always, HGTV, and my mind evaporated into a whirlwind tour of Hawaii: sweeping beaches, a pulsing cityscape, and a water-filled grotto.

Bob stood at the entrance of his cubicle, temporarily mesmerized by the desecration. They had glued googly eyes to his stapler! He sighed and began the cleanup that would restore his fragile sense of control.

The wicked people in security markets nearly collapsed the economy with their shenanigans.
There's a lot of intrigue in trying to unravel the story of how it all happened.
But it seems certain the guilty parties made calculated efforts to crash their competitors.

Presley's The Wonder of You played loudly in the next room, in counterpoint it seemed, to the clickety-clack of the Yesteryear on the bureau.
"I'm afraid Al Mendez has won the moral vote," the slime ball said reading the printout.
Zimmerman only smiled holding his equanimity in check and opened his fortune cookie.

If my biography were written, she thought snidely, it'd be about three paragraphs long.
It was then that she saw the starnose rummaging in the duff in the backyard-- and her life changed.
But, predictably, crookery brought it all down with a resounding crash (blame it on the mole).

I jumped the short distance through the air to get seated on the swing, and then the euphoric plummeting. Swooping down through the arc and back up, I cringed away from the opposing wall in expectation. Truly, this 40-foot tall swing was the sauce on my kookaburra.

They were restricted from walking through the usually mist-filled northern part of the forest by the villagers. But Jill assured her companions that she had reliable notation on when to utter the incantations that would keep them safe. Thus reassured, the five of them proceeded in the direction of the hollow which would enable them to find the proper trail.

The flow of the troops rushing into the open began to concentrate as they encountered the unexpected patches of mud.
There was only the ironic calm of wildflowers in the breeze to mark the moment before the the exchange of volleys of arrows.
As for me, I saw only the flick of my horse's ear, and the flutter of our pennon in the wind.

The bond between the Giants and the Brathair had been allowed to languish for centuries.
It took an event like severe harm to the vessel Starfare's Gem to inspire some Giants to the drastic measure of appealing to the Brathair for help.
They did this by guiding their wounded vessel toward the Brathair capital city, a place built like a fortress near the Great Desert.

Bob had two warnings on his file already for 'use of sarcasm,' but sometimes his mouth got ahead of his brain. Now they'd scheduled a mandatory training session with a mediator from HR. He'd known the workplace wasn't going to be sybaritic, but this was absurd.

"I've got a mammoth paper literally looming over me," she chatted away on the phone. Andrea laughed back gleefully, "Well, I need to come up with something really sharp for the hypothesis for my paper on saber-tooths!" (Last time, Jen recalled, Andrea's thesis paragraph had parenthetical notes so huge that they outweighed the monster of an icthyosaurus sentence she'd written.)

Was it really fortuitous the river had frozen over the very same day Fara presented me with my skates? And that a sparkling moon could possess so much power, turning even the village homefires evenescent?
Faster and faster we sped the icy watercourse, anticipating our rendezous with Stomp and Caryhn, and our flight across the great weir.

For Isopel Berners, it was a landmark day when she emerged from the forest. But no saturnalia awaited her on the crowded docks as she sought passage to Americkay. A worse discovery could barely be imagined than what she found when she made her way below decks to her dear-bought berth...

"No matter how far-flung the location of this planet's inhabitants, they must be reach with the news of the planned invasion!" barked the outpost's constable.
So, volunteers made ready to go as far as to penetrate the imposing sylvan threat projected by the Gluttonous Carnivorous Forest. The interplanetary developments were of too much importance for messengers to be intimidated by such ludicrous grotesquery.

The shamballa beads began glistening fairly well when lowered into the borosimite fuse. "As crude as Dale Arden's prom night, gentlemen," smiled the visray chief.
"But then, desperate times call for desperate measures."

Bob was impressed that the wizard had trusted him with such an important quest. He just had to bring the spellbook to the next town, but it was vital that he arrived before sunset. If only he hadn't left the darn thing at the pub where he'd been talking to the hobgoblin.

She stepped into the high-arched cave, and could almost hear an echo before testing her voice against the walls' reverberations. Looking back, she saw the last seabirds had forsaken the blue sky. She closed her eyes and remembered floating all night against the ship's shattered timbers at this barren latitude.
