I just set Beorn up to watch series 3. He said he's seen NuWho up to Daleks in Manhattan, so that is where he's starting.

No. Still David Tenant, with Martha, at this point.

Let's not get into the implications of 10 marrying 5's Daughter ;)

Speaking of 10 and 5, Beorn called me out when Time Crash started, as he had no idea what was going on...

Isn't anyone watching Season 9?

I admit I'm behind, only have watched episode 1 so far. Pretty good, but I haven't gotten to the end of the cliff-hanger.

The card thing threw me for a loop, which prompted me to look for new mini-sodes. Turns out there are two, both of which supposedly occur before The Magician's Apprentice, but strike me as occurring within the time frame of that episode:

Series 9 Prologue
The Doctor's Meditation
(I can only find the second one on Facebook; it seems to have been deleted everywhere else I've found.)

Neither mini-sode answers my question regarding the start of using the cards, but they were good to see.

I'm drawing a blank trying to remember what "the card thing" you refer to is. But I knew about the minisodes.

Got caught up today. The Girl Who Died was great, really got to me at the end.

That reminds me that I need to see if a new one was posted for The Girl Who Died.

The cards I'm referring to are the index cards Clara wrote for The Doctor with appropriate responses to emotional situations, such as coworkers being killed.

*nod*

I loved the "why this face" explanation, including the cameos.

I'm assuming we'll see Ashildr again...

Yes, looks like we will be seeing her again.

And, oh, those cards. :)

I almost want to see a spin off series of the adventures of Clara and Ashildr...
