I'm covered in scrapes and bruises, all of my muscles hurt, and I really hope that blood washes out of my uwagi. I love judo!

Aul - hope you get the chance of a nice long soak in a hot bath to help with those aches and scrapes!
I feel exhausted from walking around Philadelphia all day. Day 2 of my holiday and starting to unwind and relax.
Off to San Fran tomorrow....looking forward to it!

I lost someone very special to me a couple of days ago and it has left me feeling very confused, sad, and somewhat guilty.

Sorry about your loss, SBG.
Wait, Chrysalis will be in San Francisco next week? I didn't know that!
Weird couple of days. Today was the last day at work for one of the two guys I've worked for since I started at the firm, so there was sadness, plus the craziness involved in getting his bidness wrapped up (files organized, etc.). I still have to do a bunch of that when I get back from vacation (but at least then I'll be rested!). The Russian visas for my other guy and his colleagues were ready for pickup today, so I had to arrange for the courier to go and get them. My third attorney is going out of town on Monday, so I had to get her travel arrangements all squared away. *And* the guy who needed the Russian visa also handed me 104 pages worth of time entries for the India matter yesterday and asked me to summarize them -- one or two sentences per employee.

I did not quite get that part done before I had to leave today.
Oh yeah, and I'm on vacation next week.

Driving to Roanoke tomorrow. I should be packing, but...well....

I did, thanks! Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Sorry to hear about your loss, SBG.
Enjoy your vacation, aliantha! And good luck with all that work.
Today, I officially moved out of the dorms for the last time ever. It is bittersweet. I no longer have to worry about all the crap I had to deal with in the dorms, but I have to share a room again (I moved back in with my family so I don't have to worry about having a job while I student teach next semester), and my sister and I don't get along very well when we have to live in the same space. At least now I have some fighting skills so I won't be completely destroyed by her anymore, although those skills would be a lot more useful if I happened to be aggressive instead of passive. On the positive side, I will never again have to struggle through another dorm cafeteria meal.

I'm anticipating the coming Pantheon turn... though I'm a bit saddened by the fact we're going to lose at least one player this turn. Anyone wants to join?

uh-oh...
I suspect most turns haven't even been submitted and you're
already anticipating?
*this does not bode well*

Well, I had the worst food poisoning in my entire life last night. And I'm still feeling like death...but at least I'm *not* dead!

Ugh. My sympathies, Sea! Retching your guts out is not a nice way to spend the day.

Congrats to you! Batty moved all her stuff out of her room earlier today, although she hasn't checked out yet as I'm sleeping there tonight (it's okay, tho -- the RA is cool with it

). I think it was less bittersweet for Batty than "FINally!"

She was kinda done with living in a dorm. But then, Otaku Hall is kinda noisy....
Oh yeah, Batty did successfully graduate this morning. (I did check in the folder, just to make sure she actually *has* the diploma, and not a big piece of paper saying, "haha, you're not done yet!"

) So yeah, I are the proud parental unit of a college granulate.

One down, one to go!

Had a good day today. The weather was terrible, so I only went out once. But

that was to get a hopi ear candle treatment at a posh local hotel. Was a Christmas present that I'd nearly forgotten about. Vereeeeeee nice!
