LITERATI (Yahoo's Scrabble) SCORES
Moderator: Orlion
Holy Crap, guys.
Okay, so I'm leading by around ten points about 3/5 of the game, right? Then Luci comes busting in and takes her OWN ten point lead. We've got no letter's left, and I'm sweating hard.
She puts her last ones down. 220 total points.
I've got one letter left.
I put it down.
*dramatic pause*
Tie game.
Luci - 218
Balon - 218
Man. I love this game.

have you ever tried explaining yourself

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

He trounced me! I haven't taken a whupping like that in a LONG time!
Way to go Balon! You guys should have seen some of his fancy moves. It was seriously impressive. It looked more like a tetris game than literati!
There must have been at least three parts of the board that looked like this:

Yes, he beat the heck out of me. It wasn't just that I got crap for letters, he seriously dominated the table. He whupped on me, he played some stacking moves that blew my mind. He was like a freaking cylon of literati. The board looked like tetris game, seriously. He was in the zone and beat me hardcore. He earned that Jenn whupping with every letter. He had crappy letters too and still managed to pull out some twenty something scoring moves. I seriously bow down to him for that game. I wish I could remember some of the exact moves since he was so ON it. Gah! As much as I hate losing he freaking whOOMPED me. Emphasis of course on the second half of that horrible interpretation of that word.
