We seem to have wandered quite quickly from what Dorian actually asked about, which was not a place for the Void to have to himself, but a place to put pantheon-related pieces of writing without it getting in the way of the dialogue/interaction stuff that makes up the majority of the Game Thread.
As Creator/Devaghuya said, it's been the practice in the past to post that kind of thing in the game thread; I do it now and then. I don't think it really interrupts what else is going on in the thread around it. I can see the reason behind having a seperate thread for it, though, and I don't mind either way. See what other players (and Xar) think.

Ah, I see. Like a background/story thread much like what Xar has already posted?

Similar idea, yes.

yeah
due to hte nature of the void and its believers, I wont be posting as the void its self very much at all, and rather as some of his followers, seeing as its very much focussed on personal enlightenment and understanding
I wouldnt want my own thread, as the void by nature does not exist, so how can it muse to itself?

It was more of a misunderstanding than a wandering.

No offense intended, dear. I just misunderstood.
But, I would be powerfully interested to read what the followers would say. I always liked that kind of extra angle for those who are talented enough and creative enough to write them. I, myself, am not one of those creative and talented people so I have to live vicariously through others.

Same with me. Not a lot of writing in the Bhakti line, eh? Heh.

Well, sorry. I had just read the posts quickly before writing that response and after Creator's on-topic response I'd read it as a tangent rather than a different subject; paying more attention, I can see otherwise.
There wasn't really much point in calling me on it, though.

Most roleplays I play in this kind of style, like empires or borderlands, I normally have 3 or 4 different characters I write as, all with different points of view.
Just now I thought of another idea for a possible reveal I couldve posted, that would have been quite different, but Im not sure it would suit. maybe I will post it as a seperate post all together

I was merely saying it wasn't intentional. I didn't want Dorian to think I was trying to go off on a tangent immediately. I was trying to answer his question. I just misunderstood it.

Gah stop arguing over the impression you fellas was trying to give me, its fine, no really it is, jeez

Not to worry. I don't impress very many people.

not true zephyr! you wouldn't be here if you weren't impressive on some level.
i write narrative too, void-oid. perhaps we
should have character threads. i once posed the idea to xar too before we got Gravin Threndor.
it helps me to keep track of what i'm doing and how it affects my followers.

Talent isnt in the void, but in the eye of the beholder, for it is our imagination and intelligence that spawned the void, the realization that our own inner strength is enough to live in a world where the weak rely on gods for comfort.
Take that propoganda as you will

I too shall avoid any dialogue posting from Eztlicoatl - it just does not suit the conception. What is the forum for the gods to chit-chat, anyway? Is this a Mt Olympus style hang-out, or purely just a stream of consciousness across the ether? In either case it would be innappropriate (and it might even be impossible) for the Sun God to chat with other gods.
Furthermore, I shall probably only do write-ups in the style of my 'reveal'. i.e. you may never actually see a POV post from the Blood Serpent, though I might post as his High Priest or such. I'm much more likely to post from the perspective of an outsider looking in, however.
