The price for fuel here at the moment is £1.17 a litre, which a couple of swift calculations reveal would work out at about US$10 a gallon. Quit your griping.

My mum's a ning-nong (runs in the family!). Ah well...that's ok. As long as we're not paying what CovJ is paying...that's RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

Yeah!

I'd drink wine with you, but it's 5:50 in the morning and I have to work today. It'll be a busy day today. I have to make sure everything runs smoothly while I'm gone. ;)

edit: I just printed out my itinerary, and I think the font size is about 3. :?

I fly in 24 hours.

Yeah...I was going to get one but got confused about how it all works (as the only thing I could available here was a three prongy thingy for the US and I think most in the US have 2 prongs thingies? Can anyone confirm? I thought perhaps our two prong thingies in the Australia are the same as the US two prong thingies but I'm not sure....

....and, yes, I've had half a bottle of wine.

Happy trails though, Cov J! Hope your flight is a good one. :D

Sea, I've found older buildings in the US have outlets for two prong plugs, but newer buildings tend to be have the three hole grounded outlets.

But you have that whole different voltage thing to account for, right?

Yeah, don't forget to get the voltage converter when you get the plug adapter. Otherwise you'll fry your gadgets.

The two-prong plug will work in a three-prong outlet, btw. But for computers and such, best to use the three-prong plug (the third prong is for grounding).

We Americans just like to complicate things... ;)

All of ours have three prongs, and have forever. But because of the voltage thing, I have stick my appliances in the two-prong adapter so I can use your three-prong outlets. Madness.

What, is the flood between you and the shed? Poor danlo!

No, I said that Magickmaker, Menolly and I wouldn't need one. Altho we *used* to have an air mattress pump...hmm...I don't think we have it any more, tho. Magickmaker, when you guys packed up the basement last year, you didn't see that foot pump thing, did you?

I can look for mine as well, if you need me to danlo.
But that won't help you Thursday night...
Mine runs off the accessory outlit/cigarette lighter of a car though.
...if I can find it...

I have two bags of muscle and flesh that can be squeezed repeatedly to inflate things.

No my bud Phorist lent me his airmattress and I think he said it was selfinflating (I'll have to call him) in anycase I think I need to ransack the shed for the dumb little pump adapters...(no Cjr I don't want to hear about your adapters either, electrical or not! :P :P :P 8) )

It's allright. The British are totally full of hot air. I am sure he can inflate your "mattress" no problem.
