tree that really determines the amount of suffering. Not, for example, the ambient temperature around the tree... the humidity... the amount of vermin (or vultures) eating on you... whether you're tied or nailed to the tree... whether you were wounded before or during the period of hanging...

Ah, I didn't realize I was speaking with one so young and weak. The physical considerations have nothing to do with it with beings such as Brid and I. It is the nature of the tree, the power of it, that matters.

Well, on our part, we knew it was pending, but neither of us had an opportunity to sit down and compose. I doubt more deadline texts to us would have changed anything.
My thanks to The AllFather for the extension without either of us contacting him beforehand.
