I'm sad and depressed today. I have no job and can't find one. I called a lawyer to ask a few questions about filing for bankruptcy. Obama's plan to save the housing industry from foreclosures doesn't include government loans. Last night my dog pooped on my bed. My dog. My bed. As if that is not bad enough, today the sheets are still in the dryer. And I forgot to close the bedroom door behind me. And guess what. My dog pooped on my bed. Again. On the bare mattress. Why does he hate me? I have no idea what is bothering him. I mean, it is one thing to be bummed out day in and day out about being on the verge losing everything I have, but to top it off, my dog decided that he hates me and decided to show me exactly how he feels about me.

dogs do not have many ways to tell us they miss us and worry about us. he probably senses your distress and is worried about you. He is marking his territory, YOU are his territory. Take it as a compliment (but keep your door shut)

sorry your plans got cancelled.........
Williamsburg in August is one sweaty place. Maybe you can reschedule for early October and catch the fall colors.
I'll just make my step-mother go and take lots of photos. My father will be so happy.
Will probably have to wait until next year at least before visiting now, which sucks. Damn "free" health system! It was just gonna be so much easier to go with family and have accommodation in LA and NYC already sorted.
Ah well. I'll just get drunk on Saturday instead.

Maybe, but that's still around R15,000.00 in
my currency. For just one ticket. Pretty steep.

Turiya!!!
B"H for context...
heh. can't help it. ^_^ what's B"H?
Come to think of it, "Bring the lady" could mean something entirely different, also... *ponders*
Other things from the past two pages that sounds like either euphemisms or taken out of context sounds a little wrong:

I had a good laugh in an email today. I've been discussing getting together with a couple of college friends over the last weekend of the month. The only question is where. One wants us to go up to his cabin in Michigan's U.P., but the other friend and I think that's too far to drive (about 7 hours) for just a 3 day weekend. They were talking, with "Sam" (not using real names) trying to talk "Bill" into going to the cabin.
Sam: "He (Damelon) wants to go to DeKalb, but that doesn't make any sense. Nobody will be in town, so it will just be the three of us." (the university is done for the semester)
Bill: "But if we go to your cabin, it will just be the three of us."

Sorry, Damelon, but judging solely on that exchange, your friends sound a little sketchy to me...

O.O... what happens in the cabin, STAYS in the cabin. or comes out of the cabin at a friend's birthday party, which happens to be luau themed, so "what happened" will already be wearing a coconut bra, some bright flowers, and a see-through grass skirt...

Are you kidding? It's cold, damp, and pretty dreary at the moment. Besides, pretty scenery gets boring after a while.

VS, I'd welcome the chance to live somewhere with pretty scenery long enough for it to become boring.
Part of my job today is to move 9,300+ e-mails from one Outlook folder to another. And they're not even my e-mails. Teeeeedious....

Select All -> Forward
Please tell me it has that feature... otherwise, it's not worth it... good gods, who accumulates 9,300+ emails, anyway? Gah, that's horrible.
I have to make things go *beep* for five hours and then count monies. That's about it. And "smile"... I prefer to call it a horrifying grimace of loathing, but it looks like this "smile" thing, no matter what I call it, so... *shrug* That's at five, though.

An attorney who's been with the firm for ten years and who never archived anything. Now that he's gone, I get to do the archiving. Go me.
That was just one folder, mind you; I've already done the rest. Guaranteed the total was more than 50,000.

I couldn't move them all at once -- the system can't handle that many at once, so I had to move them in batches of 300 or so. Believe me, I *tried* moving them all at once; Outlook gave me some weird error message. Gotta love Microsoft...
Anyhow, I just finished.

i hate outlook.
you know...i just came from the tank, from reading some threads in the tank.
i swear to god, those guys are NEVER going to agree on ANYfriggin thing
in there.
and frankly, NO man is equal to his own friggin rhetoric.
do they realize they all make themselves sound insane in there???
my GOD you have to sort through so much CRAP they toss around
at each other that you can hardly see what the heck is goin on in
the discussions and the most BIZARRE thing is they're all so used
to fighting with each other that they're all starting to sound like
each other!! they're all making the VERY SAME arguments about
EVERYthing and i can't really sort out who thinks what anymore.
thats how the tank made me feel today.
i'm not gonna read anything in there for a while.

I am right there with ya. In said attorney's defense, he did spend a considerable amount of time before he left deleting the junk from his inbox and sorting everything into the folders. So he actually did the heavy lifting.

I took a Tank break for awhile myself, after the election and especially after the inauguration. Dunno what made me venture back in there. Maybe it's time to take another break...
