Considering that this thread is about a (perceived) dearth in community vibrancy, I'm wondering why this forum doesn't seem to have a leaderboard.
The "posts since last visit" function kinda does the same job. But not quite.

EDIT: Every time a post is made, the topic goes to the top of the list while others are knocked off as they slide down the list.
I thought that this was called a leaderboard, but I'm a bit of a dinosaur so I'm open to correction on that.

Okay, yeah, I think I may have also heard it called that.
