I'd just like to mention that, umm...

It is...not exactly the easiest thing in the world to write a report on Nuclear Fusion energy when you're a high school student who hasn't even taken AP Physics.

I've spent like 3 hours on it and have banged out 2 pages, double spaced, so far. It's extremely challenging simply to look at a source and figure out what's relevant, what can actually be understood, etc. It's all extremely interesting, but it's also way over my level of understanding.

But I think I can get it done before 1:00 AM. I'm going to take a shower before I continue to refresh myself a bit.

Keep me updated: I have a passion in Astrophysics, and my main interest is in stellar mechanics (nuclear fusion in the cores).

|G Hugs all round! Guns Sea Lore Holsety et al...

Sea, did you find out whose bloody dog did that? THAT should also be put down. Vicious bugger may attack a child next after an incident like that...fair's fair. I'm not what you'd call a cat lover, but I'm sorry you had to lose a good well-cared-for pet which may have lived longer if some selfish oik had the brains to keep their OWN pet in check...

Me, got the ol' migraine thing again...*sigh*...I wish I could detach my head and pull out whatever the f*k makes it sore...

I didn't see it. My neighbour said she heard it and it sounded like a small dog. There's so many wandering dogs around here (being a small country town). I've had dogs in our back yard (!) before walking around like they own the place....

Thanks for your support guys. I only wish I could make SoS understand as he keeps asking when Smudge is going to come back. We'll get there. :)

That is terrible Sea. Losing a pet is the worst feeling.

Hope your friends are doing Ok Cail.

The biopsy on my brother came back... and the news is not good, but also not wholly unexpected. The tumor was a small-cell mass, just like what was in his lung. This means he is likely to have numerous, and more hearty reocurrances. In all liklihood, barring the miracle of course, he has perhaps 2-3 years....he won't even get to see the end of the Last Chronicles for Gods sake.

I am numb... have to take it out in the Tank.

Sorry to hear about Smudgie, Sea.......It's hard to lose a pet.

Wow Guns, know that we are all here to support you as your family goes through this difficult time. Remembering to take some time out for yourself ever so often will allow you to be more helpful to your brother.

I personally am feeling pretty good, 34 years ago today I arrived on the planet and the world hasn't been the same since!

Hugs to all with need or want of them. Sorry to hear of everyone's woes. I feel pretty good today. I have been so totally stressed with my moving issues to the point that a few days ago I had my very first road rage moment. I scared an arrogant berk in an audi who was driving like an ass. Anyway, today I feel surprisingly calm and good. I drove Julie's car into work and her satellite radio had some great music on. Well, Lucimay would have hated it but sometimes those cheesy eighties rock ballads really make me smile. So hopefully this day will remain nice and calm....

urg jennifer. you're absolutely correct in your assessment. HOWEVER, i wholly support ANY kind of music that makes ANYone SING OUT LOUD!!
willingness of the spirit to open up your mouth and do it!! Right On!!

(and i confess a fondness for Chicago altho i'm not a peter ceterra fan)

as for me, i'm a bit better today. spoke with kaiser advice nurse this morning just to make sure i was treating myself correctly and to see if they thought i should come in for cultures or antibiotics, but they said no, it's going around, a virus of some sort and that i was doing everything right and to load up on fluids and take over the counter decongestants and i should be fine in a couple more days. am still off work but will probably be well enough to go back tomorrow.

Well, I love cheesy music in the morning especially because it brings back fond high school memories of Friday nights at the ice rink....

How about operatic stuff? I sing THAT at the top of my lungs while driving - amuses many, makes me feel good, helps me learn the music... (especially as I'm singing loudly while I have the MP3 player on- WITH HEADPHONES!)

Guns, so sorry to hear that about your bro. Hang in there, dude!
