(Got diagnosed with Lyme Disease a couple of days ago. Been feeling crap for 6 months. Hopefully can start to treat now, even if Australian doctors are ignorant as...

Damn, I forgot to close my bracket).

Oh Shaun! You got bitten by a tick? I suppose with all that wool they are hard to spot. I had one once, but luckily noticed it and got it out (or rather the music teacher did - we were at school camp in the New Forest at the time). Keep out of the bushes and get well!

Shockingly, no sheep now. (Lyme disease in Aussieland??? Whodathunkit. Ticks don't bite me, for some reason. If I don't medicate the cat he comes in with dozens every day. I find them on me occasionally, but they never bite me.)

Stevie maintenant, peut-etre?

I'm sorry, this thread is currently lacking a StevieG. Can I get you a sheep instead?

Yes Iolanthe, hidden in all that wool obviously. Knew I should have listened to farmer and got a haircut! StevieG, hopefully a combination of antibiotics and very expensive supplements will kill the effer though I hear you can relapse too. It's had 6 months to play around in me so it'll take a bit of bashing. Also, my immune system is not great to begin with, may struggle taking lots of antibiotics. Deer, yeah it's been in Oz for years, authorities just don't like to admit; the usual money and politics bullshit. I'll have to look at medicating my cat since I think that's who I got the tick from! Null, nice poem.

And yes, this kind of chat should really be in general discussion, but I like dropping my news amongst my little Mallorys family :-)

Speaking of which, Hi Shorus.

StevieG back :D

I don't know - I think it's great that you've mentioned it here in Mallorys - a small, caring community without any shame! Remember, GenDisc has Mallory-haters, which to me means they don't really love you, whereas we do! I hope it improves and you start feeling better soon.

Sorus? Nah...

This is the Soarin' Cheval!
(Can a horse fly?... or a radio wave?... or a barn dance?...)

I'm going to guess our next visitor will be wearing hooves also.
