Welcome, new Insequent.
Perhaps his talent is to appear in multiple locations at the same time?

Don't call him that. It's a known abbreviation for toilet paper. :(

And Terry Pratchett. And a Native American tent. By the time I've finished with him, he won't know who he is! (But he will be well prepared for emergencies in the bush.)

I wouldn't call it a well known abbreviation for Pratchett, Iolanthe is just too lazy to type his name. ;)

And isn't it a tipi or teepee?

Still pretty funny. ;)

Yes, it's a teepee, and sometimes, as you rightly point out, a tipi.
I claim the defense of artistic licence your Honour.

And it's not just Iolanthe who lazily abbreviates Sir Terry to TP. ;-) I believe I've done it once or twice in the 'What sf are you reading now?' thread. Perhaps we can agree it's a known Watch abbreviation without, as yet, wider take-up?

Anyway, where is Bogroll Man? I hope you haven't scared him away again!

I wonder where you picked it up from... ;)

And me scare people off? I'm the soul of gentility and light...if anything, it's your uncouth derogation that's doing it...bogroll man indeed! ;)

I concur, there's no one more gentile and light than yourself. We shall have to agree to blame Frosty who first led us down the gutter path.

And yes don't take us seriously The Puissant. We're just s**t-stirring.

ETA: asterisks. It was meant to be a pun on the topic at hand but apparently it's foul language and I've been asked to edit. (I appreciate we're a PG forum but I've done many broadcast censorship courses with work and the 's' word falls fairly and squarely in PG. Depending on context, we can even use it in G programming. But I guess America is different: violence ok, nudity and bad words not so much ;-))

A man goes to the doctor and says, Doctor, sometimes I feel like a wigwam, and sometimes I feel like a teepee, what's the matter with me?

And the Doctor replies, It's plain to me:
Spoiler
you're two tents.

Please make consistent rules for appropriate language and which also apply to everyone. The "s-word", if we need to call it that now, was just used here in the summonsing forum a couple of days back without any asterisking. Search brings up 1130 threads. :/
