I LOVE Gogol Bordello!!! Never been to a concert though...
Seconded on that. I really need to see them live.

I hate it when you have a cold that just wont frickin' die. GAWD, I've been sick for two weeks now, but it's not severe enough to just run it's course and die. It just hangs and hangs and hangs around. URGH.

Wow. First time I've heard it termed *that*. Kinda makes it sound like you were *willing* to lose your job.... They probably came up with a new phrase because the powers-that-be figured out that we've learned all their other euphemisms. Either way, it still sucks.

Sarge, I am with you on the whole banking thing. They make buckets o' cash in fees off of us, and *still* act like they're doing us a favor by handling our accounts. Urgh.

Pet Peeve:

People who buy great big SUVs or vans and then don't know how to maneuver them in parking lots, much less park them.
:soapbox:

Not only that, the need for SUV drivers to find the smallest car in the parking lot (which is usually mine) and park on either side of it, thus making it difficult for the driver of the small car to see to be able to pull out.

I also want to add that those with tinted windows annoy me, especially when I am tailgating them on the highway and they suddenly veer off to a side to reveal the parked car directly in front of them.

You know what really bugs me?

Two things.

WHen I'm delivering to someone's house, an they either answer the door while talking on the phone...or while eating something.

Pedestrians in San Francisco who can see that you waited the whole frigging light to try to turn right and the sidewalk sign says ONE SECOND left to walk and they ENTER the crosswalk ANYWAY AND they walk slower than my Grandmother and she is DEAD. I especially despise them if they are also talking on a cell phone while inching across the street. Makes me want to just slam on the gas and run em down.

Let me add to that. The driveway into and out of the shop is BLIND. You can't see when backing out because there are no windows in the building. you can't see until you get almost all the way out the door. Why oh WHY do people who see the ass end of a car backing out of a driveway JUST KEEP WALKING as though there is no car about to crush them? AND then when I slam on the brakes just centimeters from their legs they give me a look like WTF are you doing? GAH. Sorry, two bad pedestrian experiences already today.

I was trying to watch a movie, and this popped up:
Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.
I tried a different player, and this popped up:
You must have DVD software installed on your computer to play this file. Please ensure the DVD software that came with your computer or DVD drive is properly installed, before attempting to play this file.
I have never had problems playing DVDs on my computer before. I am peeved.

Adding to that, the lovely gentlemen who put the paper seat covers down, and then piss all over them.

I realized today..that I hate it when people talk about cival servants, or polititions saying, "We Pay their Salary."

That's dumb.

You don't actually Pay any government workers salary, just because you pay tax.

You might as well say that you pay everyone's salary at Walmart, because you shop their.

Or if you shop at a grocery store that I deliver to, you might as well say you pay My salary, as the groery store pays the company I work for.

Civil servants are just regualr workers, who happened to REALLY luck out with their employment.

Pet Peeve 1: Spending hundreds of dollars per semester for textbooks.
Pet Peeve 2: Being promised that the books can be sold back to the university book store at the end of the semester, but then when the time comes being told that they are not buying back several of the most expensive books.
Pet Peeve 3: Getting $25 total for two books that cost me over $100 (used), when they are in the exact same condition in which I paid for them.
Pet Peeve 4: Having to explain all this to my dad, who is funding my college experience, and will not be happy to get back $25 when we spent about $300 on books this semester.
