Hope things work out for you. Divorces are never easy, especially with kids involved.

I actually got around to filing my divorce last Thursday. Assuming everything's filled out correctly (we did the paperwork ourselves, so I hope we didn't screw anything up) in 4 - 6 weeks I'll be a single man again.

I had a pretty good weekend, but the red wasn't doing it for me, and faded fast. So, I'm back to good old purple.

Hehehee..A team member ,at work,rides motorcycle. He wears a helmet while riding. He has adorned his helmet with a long row of red plastic " spiked hair", right down the middle, front to back, definitely the mohawk look. There is a certain humor there which is fine. Its just,,he stores the helmet right across the aisle from my desk. I get to see that " mohawk" more than Av sees his own, unless Av carries a mirror and uses it all the time. So..sorry to say..i'm empty on Av's avatar, no matter the colour.

well, it's official............I signed the lease today. Helldog and I are moving to Long Island. I rented the small cottage 40 minutes from my job. Gave the landlord $14,000.00!!!!! 2 months deposit, 1 month realtor fee and 6 months rent. It will probably take me more than a month to move and get the house here ready for showings. I have a LOT of sadness at leaving the home. Actually I will probably stay here on weekends to maintain the house until it is sold. I will miss the ocean and the pool and the forests but .... life goes on. Feel sad about it to tell the truth. But I will live. There are a lot of advantages to the move

BUT no beach, no woods, no pool, no 'community'. I am not whining, just a little sad. I know it is the right decision. Maybe I can get my life back on track and back to the things I enjoy.

Good luck with the move, Lorin, I hope you get a decent price for the house. Downsizing sucks, but sometimes it's the best option.

Haven't been on a proper one in ages. It was great.
