Oh, of course...the tack on the horses that the creatures rode.

From Esmerel in the Care of Tor.

It's a synonym for hue, color of the glass?

I'll give it to you, because it does mean "coloured lightly."
I found interesting though that it comes from middle English, where it meant "a transforming elixir."
Pretty cool.
Your question.

So I might be wrong and it's a coloring agent.
Next question: Terisa was attacked a lot of times throughout the series. In which of these episodes was she hurt the worst?

I think Terisa was probably hurt the worst when Geraden introduced her as an Imager to the Termigan's guards just outside of Sternwall and they knocked her out with a very hard hit to the back of her head.

Gart as the Mountebank managed to cut her with one of his stars didn't he? That time she actually bled, although I'll concede being knocked unconscious is probably worse.

I'd rate Cord Hurn's example as worse than Avatar's but there was a worse one still in the books.

Gart wasn't the perpetrator that time.

Yep. Gilbur did the translating and Darsint the blasting.

Damnit.
Ok, off-the-cuff...
What weapon did Gilbur wield in his confrontation with Geraden?

A dagger?

Yep.

A wicked dagger IIRC. (Although I seem to recall him with a club at some point too.)
Your question.

Oh, lucky me!
I'll try to come up with a question in a few moments before calling it a night, here. Hopefully I can come up with some sort of clever question!

Uh...Lebbick, obviously. Gerarden, uh...Artagel(?), and Eremis?
