It's a great day! The sun is shining after 3 days of rain. My daughter, Elora Grace, just got accepted to an Early Beginnings (Title 1) preschool program at the local elementary school where she'll be going to kiddeegarden. We totally lucked out on this-it's designed for literacy challenged parents and they were short on GED tutors, they turned us down on those grounds, but then asked if I could exchange tutoring for daycare-so done deal!!! No more high priced daycare-it's free!

Busted ass on all my work and housework yesterday so nothing to do but enjoy the day. I'll do, at least, one fantasy football mock draft today as I have real drafts coming up Sat, Sun and Mon. Go Chargers!!!

Yeah, I love that one too. I'm secretly hoping that'll be the one in the book (then SoS would be REALLY excited).

Life here is so-so. I'm tired and have some stupid chest infection I can't shake. SoS has just come down with a stomach bug and has been puking all day (as well as other things--I'll spare you the details).

On the upside, Mr Seareach bought me a punching bag and some boxing gloves today. He's set it up in the shed, and I've been going out there on and off for most of the afternoon and punching the living crap out of the "bag" (otherwise known as different people depending on what's on my mind). Great therapy. Don't think I've felt this relaxed in a long time...although I should really learn to curb my profanities while laying into it. Not sure what the neighbours think!

Well, I'm still sick, had to go to the ER on Thursday. Seems I picked up the dreaded H1N1 virus. Today is the first day I have felt even a little better. Hopefully, this is the start of recovery.
