I'm not even going to look that up! I recognised the Australian language though
Shaun, do we keep this page an all Aussie affair?

I looked it up. Can I be an honorary Aussie?
How do you feel about that, Shaun?

She'll have to speak for herself. I'm not even part Aussie.
What about you, Sarge?

Sarge would cease to exist if he were an Aussie
Welcome all, to the Aussie page! Ah bugger it, if you're from planet Earth or even remotely related to the Universe, you're welcome in here.
So Shaun, you gone wallkabout again, time to finish your smoko and have a Captain Cook at this thread before my dog's breakfast of an Aussie slang sentence goes bananas

Even just to tell me to put a sock in it, and that I'm one stubbie short of a six-pack - or is there Buckley's?

Not a chance, she's obviously gone to the dunny!

Nope, we're back to America again, sorry. You'll have to suffer through our crappy slang instead.
Yo, Sorus!

Yo Mom

.
Sorry I was late to the Strine Party Stevo. Hope you've drunk all the veebs, that shit's vile.
Greetings Sorus. How are you today?

VB was the first beer I drunk, back in the day when I didn't realise that it didn't actually have to taste like crap! These days, I'm a Cascade snob, all hoity toity - every now and then I condescend to drink Boags, then after a while I could probably drink XXXX and not know the difference...
Right, I'm going to look up some American slang to invoke an Americanite's return - let's see, hmm, I can't seem to find anything distinctly American. My son is saying "I know, right!" a bit these days which I think is an American saying.
Ali, you'll have to enlighten me.

It is indeed American slang, and is sometimes now shortened to simply, "Right?" in a tone of voice implying that you're a moron if you don't agree.
As an aside: CovJr -- and where the hell *is* he, anyway?

-- posted on his FB wall awhile back that the phrase, "I know, right?" drove him crazy and what does it even mean and so on. To which Jaz -- and where the hell is *she*? -- and MagickMarker and I all replied in quick succession, "I know, right?" It was priceless.
Did that answer your question, Stevie?

Yeah, thanks Ali - I'm totally confused now
I can imagine CovJr having a rant about a phrase that doesn't really make sense! I'm personally all for it - each country or city or community having its own phrases that mean something if you've grown up there.
Hmmm, ok where were we? Shaun das Schaf get your arse (ass) / bum (butt) down here!

No it didn't. You're a moron, right?
Stiofán G?

Wow, that really didn't make sense, until I looked at when you wrote your reply and it was pretty much when I wrote mine!
So we were both responding to Ali - do you agree Ali?

No, you moron, right?
Stevie is a Moron G?

Alas! Tis I! My triumphant return after a big fat dookie of a week. But all is right with the world, and none of it was based in reality anyway.
Uh, Shaun I love you too! (assuming that was what was said in the maybe Lithuanian translator or something).
I now train my two eyes to the many eyes of Taterman!
