Frustrating day. My nearly new Jeep had a serious malfunction (the engine malfunction idicator light was flashing frantically) on the way to work. It is now at the dealer, and I am at work (two hours late -- and I have been late only a handful of times in 17 years). Thankfully, my son's truck came home two days ago. So I do have something to drive until the Jeep is diagnosed & repaired.

But now, just in case they can't figure out what's wrong, or if the Jeep acts buggy even after being fixed, we have to figure out possible back-ups to get to New York for the weekend when we go visit Fisty...<sigh>

I hope your new jeep just needs new fluid or something easy like that, Duchess.

I'm feeling quite satisfied with all I've accomplished around the house so far, this second day of vacation. Now, with the freezer defrosted, I'm off to buy food to refill it.

Feeling out of sorts now--after we had much fun picking weeds, weed whacking, covering the raised garden with newpaper and straw and splashing around with Adrian in his little pool. I've had a strange tension headache all day--probably somehow related to my incident. I've promised Tam and Autumn I'll go to the doctors tomorrow if it persists.

I'm surprised they haven't already given you a CT-scan.

That's pretty much SOP at the hospital we go to. They did them right away on both of my kids when they got their heads knocked while wrestling, to see whether or not they had concussions...

Both of my kids had trouble with algebra when they had their concussions. Perhaps we could throw some quadratic inequalities at you to see if you can quickly solve them.

I'm feeling very good. I ate at like five different restaurants and ate two tons of ice cream at Myrtle Beach. Thank God there was a treadmill there!

Spent hours today reading what ended up to be only 20 pages of Runes. I know I've always been a slow reader, but that's just sad.

Now if I could only force myself to read some of these journals I have printed out. Who knows, maybe discussions about Neural Networks and Regression modeling will prove to be more exciting than Runes. Heh...

Holy cow!!! I've been really busy with the kids this weekend, and haven't been Watching in a couple days. duchess just called me and told me about danlo's incident. Man, that's unreal!

They may have the incident on video--and I may control myself from kicking his ass if they find him but I'm sure as hell file charges and sue his bloody ass.

You know I'm big and can take a punch..but these same punks could hit a sixty year old man in the temple and kill him!

Tam just got home she's worried about me having a concussion--from where my head hit the ground--but I'll be ok I just want to bring some serious justice to bastards like this. (thanks I feel better)

I did go to the hospital last night in an incredible downpour--and the power was knocked out twice. The CT scan was negative, Dr. said I did originally have a concussion--jaws not broken--I knew that. They shot me up with this muscle relaxant stuff--pretty heavy duty tho--Norfasc and Tolobarce--I have no idea how to spell them. They do have everything on video so I'm going to connect my police report with the hospital--and start filing charges--He's up to a 1000 dollar hospital bill, 75 dollar copay, 50 dollar Chiropractor visit and 12 dollar t-shirt. The a-hole may be a psycho--but I'll make him a 2 job psycho in no time. Needless to say he's banned from the hosp...The CEO and the Head of Security know all about this and they are not happy campers.

Turiya -- nothing wrong at all with sleeping in from time to time.
